    摘要: Coil bobbins are disclosed having flanged coil support portions provided with outboard terminal housings projecting beyond the flange rim and defining inwardly extending terminal-receiving cavities. The end walls of the housings are slotted to allow a wire to pass through the cavity in a circumferential direction relative to the winding axis in similar fashion to a turn of coiling. Bifurcated terminals pressed into the cavities in straddling relationship to the wire provide connections to the coil.A double bobbin has twin flanged coil support portions with bridging sections maintaining their physical separation. Terminal housings are provided on the bridging sections allowing wire to be first wound into a coil on one support portion, guided across the bridging section and passed through the cavity in a terminal housing, and then wound into a coil on the other support portion, all without interruption.

    摘要: An electromagnetic deflection unit for a cathode ray tube, comprising has at least one support (4) with a flange (8) at its narrow end (5), which has a tangential groove into which merge radial grooves (14). Two sets of deflection coils (18, 19) are wound directly onto the support (4). The turns thereof traverse the radial grooves (14), the turns of at least one set of deflection coils (18) being bent into the tangential groove. The radial grooves (14) have longitudinally extending portions (16), which are filled by the turns traversing them. The bottom portion (20) of the tangential grooves lie on the surface of an oval cylinder. The deflection unit has a high sensitivity, large axial sliding tolerance and permits correction of various kinds of deflection errors.

At least one of the bobbin flanges includes a joining part that extends outwardly from the bobbin flange and engages both the adjacent one of the pot cores and the fastening member to prevent relative rotation of the bobbin and adjacent pot core and fastening member. One of the bobbin flanges may include a stepped part having pins extending therefrom for making electrical connection to the inductance element. The stepped part is spaced from the bobbin flange, and connection wires may extend within the space.

This focussing solenoid comprises a sleeve which has a helical etching in which are housed the turns of a first layer of wire. For all the other layers of wire wound in a helix about the sleeve, the slope of the turns of the helix with respect to the sleeve is substantially the same and the turns of one layer are guided by the turns of the preceding layer.
