Abstract: A system and a method provided for managing and protecting master passwords from technicians/employees requiring access to at least one of the security systems such as an access control, a CCTV/surveillance system, burglar alarm and fire alarm system on a network with no internet access. The method involves creating a ciphered version of a master password i.e., a ciphered password on a password management server, transmitting the ciphered password to a Smartphone application installed on a user's device after authenticating the user. Further, securely transferring the ciphered password to an Intelligent USB Drive via Bluetooth®, by authenticating the USB Drive with the user's device. The USB drive is then connected to the security system via a USB port or GUI interface to access the security system.

Abstract: Disclosed are apparatuses, systems, and methods for tracking patients that suffer from dementia. The disclosed apparatus is a wearable device capable of micro-tracking through Bluetooth Low Energy technology and capable of macro-tracking through GPS technology. The device may additionally include sensors to monitor other information such as the health of the patient or the patient's surrounding environment. The disclosed systems utilize the disclosed device in an overall system for tracking patients. These systems teach how the device interacts with the other components of the system (e.g., signal beacons, wireless transmitters, a central processing unit, mobile computing devices) to provide an integrated system to tracking the location and monitoring the well being of the patient. Finally, methods for tracking patients that use the disclosed devices and systems are disclosed.

Abstract: In one embodiment, a method includes receiving, by a tracking server and from a first computing device, a first tracking signal associated with a tracking device. The method includes receiving second tracking signals from one or more second computing devices, respectively. Each second tracking signal is associated with a respective second location and is received with a respective unresolved hash value. The method includes resolving the identifier for the tracking device based on the unresolved hash value received with each of the one or more second tracking signals. The method includes associating the second locations with the tracking device based on the identifier for the tracking device.

Abstract: A secure storage system may provide secure, portable, and rapidly accessible storage for articles such as firearms. Such a system may have a shell with first and second shell members that can be closed to keep the articles secure, or opened to provide accessibility. A locking mechanism may be used to lock the shell in the closed configuration. The locking mechanism may be controlled by a wireless receiver that receives a signal to unlock the shell. The shell may include a secure-side programming interface to allow a user to set control system parameters when the system is in the unlocked state.

Abstract: An approach is disclosed that receives a wireless request from a proximity key that is used to access a vehicle. The wireless request includes a key-GPS that is a set of Global Positioning Satellite (GPS) coordinates that correspond to the proximity key. A vehicle-GPS is retrieved at the vehicle with the vehicle-GPS being a set of GPS coordinates that correspond to the vehicle. A distance between the proximity key and the vehicle based is calculated on a difference between the key-GPS and the vehicle-GPS. The approach then determines whether to perform the request based on the calculated distance.
