    摘要: An image forming apparatus of the present invention determines whether or not electronic information on a displayed image on a portable display terminal set on a platen can be received from outside of the image forming apparatus, and generating converted data for printing by receiving said electronic information and converting it into a printable format when it is determined that the electronic information can be received (S118 or S119). Meanwhile, the image forming apparatus generates scanned data for printing by scanning the displayed image on platen when it is determined that the electronic information cannot be received from outside (S121 or S123). The image forming apparatus then prints the displayed image based on either converted data or the read data (S124).

    摘要: This invention provides a data processing apparatus and a data processing method for reducing the amount of image data denoting a pattern drawn on a whiteboard by a pen or the like being moved so as to designate locations in a designated sequence. Specifically, a coordinate transformation circuit transforms first-precision coordinate data within first image data into coordinate data of a second precision lower than the first precision, thereby generating second image data. Given the coordinate data in the second image data, a changing point detection circuit detects the coordinate data that are changed in keeping with the locations being designated movably by the pen on the whiteboard, thereby generating third image data including the detected coordinate data in the designated sequence.

More specifically, the invention is directed toward a system and method for obtaining a high-resolution image of a whiteboard or other object with a low-resolution camera. The system and method of the invention captures either a set of snapshots with overlap or a continuous video sequence, and then stitches them automatically into a single high-resolution image. The stitched image can finally be exported to other image processing systems and methods for further enhancement.

    摘要: An optical scanner suitable for scanning a vertical object. The optical scanner has a scanning body, a focusing device and a scanning module. The scanning body has a transparent window, the focusing device has an arm, a reflective mirror and a lens. One end of the arm is coupled to the scanning body, and the reflecting mirror and the lens are disposed on the arm. The scanning module is disposed in the scanning body with a shell, a lens and an optical sensor. The shell has a light cone opening, and the lens and optical sensor are disposed within the shell. The image of the vertical object is focused by the focusing device on the transparent window, incident to the scanning module via the light cone opening, and refracted by the lens to form an image on the optical sensor.
