A direct current motor having an armature axially supported between magnetic pole plates having opposing pairs of pole shoes extending in interdigital parallel opposition with respect to the periphery of the armature between the pole plates adjacent the armature, is energized by direct current through a pair of coils interposed between and connected with the magnetic pole plates. The respective ends of selected pole shoes are connected with pole plates of like polarity magnetic flux and similarly the remaining of pole shoes are connected at their respective ends with pole plates of opposite polarity magnetic flux density. Wiring and electrical current controls connect a DC source to the coils and armature for providing a maximum torque and speed drive shaft with a minimum of ampere drain from the DC source.

A dragon-gate processing machine having a dragon-gate support structure, at least one lateral girder coupled to the support structure for mounting tool holding members and automatic tool exchange devices, a plurality of working tables mounted below the dragon-gate support structure, driving apparatus for driving the working tables, a mechanical transmission for coupling the drive apparatus to the working tables, an auxiliary rotary arm mounted to the dragon-gate support structure for holding auxiliary processing devices, and control means for controlling operation of the dragon-gate machine. The dragon-gate machine allows processing such as drilling, latching, and planing to be performed on a workpiece mounted on the working table. The novel invention allows such processing to be performed at any angle and at any desired direction according to the processing requirements of the workpiece.

A rotary electric dynamo machine in which the ripple component in the output occurs at a higher frequency. One half of the pole faces have a nonuniform airgap while the other half have a uniform air gap and cover a noninteger slot distance. The armature has an odd number of slots. Instead of the usual ripple component at the slot frequency, a dynamo constructed as described above, surprisingly, has a predominant ripple component at twice the slot frequency.
