摘要： A pressing iron includes a soleplate which has upwardly and downwardly facing major surfaces opposite to each other. A shell includes a peripheral wall which extends upwardly from a periphery of the soleplate to terminate at an upper peripheral edge, and which defines an air passageway that extends longitudinally. The peripheral wall is formed with a vent port disposed downstream of the air passageway. A ventilation facilitating mechanism is disposed upstream of the vent port to increase flow of air through the air passageway and out of the vent port so as to accelerate a cooling process of the flowing air that draws residual heat off the soleplate after the pressing iron is turned off.

摘要： This invention relates a kind of electric iron for eliminating the wrinkles on clothes and some other materials. The electric iron has an ironing seat, which is composed of soleplate, ironing surface on the soleplate, and heater that heats the soleplate. There are heater-shaped dents on the ironing surface where the heater is installed. This invention, with the said structure, reduces the contacting area between the ironing surface close to the heater and the clothes or other materials, thus effectively changing the uneven distribution of temperature on the ironing surface. Further, for steam electric iron, the steam sprayed out of the steam outlets in the soleplate spreads to areas away from the heater through the dents, resulting to excellent effect of wrinkle elimination.

In order to improve the utility characteristics of the ironing shoe and in particular of the insert arrangement, it is proposed providing the insert arrangement with a capillary layer made of a moisture-absorbing material on the side close to the upper side of the soleplate base, and with an impermeable layer on the side close to the steam iron.

摘要： Here disclosed is a steam sprayer for use in ironing textile products including clothes, which is user-friendly and offers highly effective ironing. A vaporizing chamber generates steam by vaporizing water stored in a tank. A water-supplying unit supplies the vaporizing chamber with water. A steam-ejecting section spouts steam outside. The steam-ejecting section includes a ironing surface with high frictional resistance characteristics. When touching the ironing surface to clothes or other fabrics for ironing, pulling force caused by the frictional resistance, which is a preferable wrinkles-off effect. Thus, the steam sprayer can offer a synergistic effect brought by spouting steam and applying the pulling force to clothes, fixing the form of clothes neatly.

摘要： A removable cover of a PTFE or similar material for a fabric pressing iron has steam holes punched and stretched to a form spacing the cover from the sole plate of the iron and facilitating the efficient delivery of steam from the iron to the material being ironed. The cover has a pocket for the tip of the iron which is formed by folding over a part of a flat sheet of PTFE and bringing the lateral edges of the fold line together and securing them by inserting a cotter pin between the flap and underlying PTFE material, and has hook-and-loop strips attached to its back to help secure the cover to the iron removably and maintain it in place during ironing.
