A method and system for providing absolute coordinate mapping using zone mapping input in a vehicle includes determining a touch input received on a touchpad located in the vehicle, presenting an absolute mapped position of the touch input on a display screen located in the vehicle, presenting one or more user interface objects on the display screen, and providing a plurality of display input zones corresponding to one or more user interface objects presented on the display screen. The method and system further include determining a user input to one of the one or more user interface objects presented on the display screen based on the absolute mapped position of the touch input on at least one of the one or more user interface objects presented on the display screen, and the plurality of display input zones on the display screen.

An information entertainment system for a motor vehicle, includes a display unit for displaying at least one function, which can be activated or is activated by a user, and/or a piece of content of the information entertainment system to an occupant of the motor vehicle. The system also includes a control unit, for controlling the display unit and the function, having an interface for the information technological coupling a portable additional device to the control unit. The control unit supplements the function displayed on the display unit with a switching function after the coupling of the additional device and, upon activation of the switching function, to display a function of the additional device using the display unit. At least the switching function can be represented as a superordinate function covering other pieces of content displayed on the display unit to simplify integration of a third-party information entertainment system into a motor vehicle.

A vehicle display control device is provided for displaying an operation screen with a display device where operation buttons are arranged on the operation screen and it is predetermined for each operation button whether a function is to be validated or invalidated in accordance with how large a load on a driver is. The vehicle display control device includes a valid operation color acquisition unit and a first display unit. The valid operation color acquisition unit uses load level colors as gradually different colors predetermined to correspond to magnitudes of the load on the driver, and acquires valid operation colors as the load level colors that correspond to the loads on the driver when the operation buttons are to be validated. The first display unit displays colors of the operation buttons arranged on the operation screen based on the valid operation colors.

A control device to control operations of a plurality of pieces of equipment used in a vehicle includes a search processing unit and an operation target guessing unit. The search processing unit searches, using a search term inputted by a user, for control contents associated with the search term among a plurality of control contents executable by the plurality of pieces of equipment used in the vehicle. The operation target guessing unit guesses, based on the state of the screen currently displayed on a display device, operation target equipment that the user intends to operate. The control device then sorts search results obtained by the searching processing unit in descending order of the degree of relevance to the operation target equipment and has the sorted search results displayed.

It is an object of the invention to provide a tactile sensation control system and a tactile sensation control method. The system includes: a processor to execute a program; and a memory to store the program which, when executed by the processor, performs processes of: acquiring operation area information on at least one operation area for operation by the user on the operation surface and on an operation type corresponding to the operation area, and controlling the tactile sensation on the operation surface so that the operation area in the acquired operation area information causes the user to have a tactile sensation according to the operation type corresponding to the operation area. The operation area includes a gesture operation area receiving a gesture operation by the user, and an icon operation area receiving an icon operation by the user.

A touchscreen Human Machine Interface (HMI) may be used to communicate with a machine controller which, in turn, may communicate with a variety of systems of an agricultural machine to calibrate those systems. Accordingly, the HMI, via the machine controller, may communicate and interact with various electronically controlled devices of the machine, such as a joystick, a brake pedal, a hydrostatic pump system, a steering angle sensor, a rear steering controller, and the like (such as via an ISO Bus or CAN bus) to effect such calibrations.

A vehicle and a method for controlling the air-conditioner are provided. The vehicle includes a touch screen, an air-conditioner, a storage unit, and a climate control unit. The climate control unit determines a touch buttons as a target touch button when a user touches the touch button displayed on an operation interface, and determines a wind direction control command and a fan speed control command according to a relationship table and the determined target touch button, and controls the air conditioner to adjust the air volume of an upper air vent and the air volume of a lower air vent of the air-conditioner according to the determined wind direction control command, and control the air-conditioner to adjust the fan speed of the air-conditioner according to the determined fan speed control command.
