摘要: A flywheel and paddle assembly for a chipping or shredding apparatus, including a wood chipper, a brush chipper, and a leaf shredder. The assembly has a flywheel attached coaxially to a drive shaft. The flywheel has at least one aperture extending from the front side to the back side, and carries at least one knife adjacent to the at least one aperture. The knife presents a knife edge on the front side of the flywheel. A paddle is rotatably mounted coaxially to the drive shaft adjacent to the back side of the flywheel. The paddle is configured to rotate on the drive shaft independently of the flywheel. A chipping or shredding apparatus incorporating the aforesaid flywheel and paddle assembly is also disclosed.

摘要: A conveyor assembly for raising and feeding debris such as fallen branches from an orchard floor to a processor such as a wood-chipper is provided. The conveyor assembly comprises a body including a floor having a leading end for location adjacent ground level and a trailing end for location above the leading end in use. A ground contact arrangement is located toward the leading end extends beneath the leading end to thereby raise the leading end above ground level. A powered leading feed roller is disposed adjacent the leading end of the floor to direct members from ground on to the floor. A powered, primary infeed roller is located rearward the leading infeed roller and is arranged to move toward and away from the floor to accommodate members between said roller and the floor and urge the members, such as fallen branches rearward for entry into an inlet of the wood-chipper.

摘要: A wood chipper which includes a chamber having a flywheel and which includes a wood in-feed system. The in-feed system includes a bin inclined for gravity-feeding wood product to the chamber and a cylindrical anvil disposed between an outlet of the bin and the flywheel. The flywheel includes a plurality of plates laminated together with fasteners. First and second ones of the plates have aligned first and second openings respectively for passage of chips. The second opening has a tab which extends from an edge thereof partially into the first opening. A knife is attached to the tab and supports a blade outwardly of the first plate and thus outwardly of the flywheel. A system is provided for providing water mist onto wood product only as it is being fed down the in-feed bin.

摘要: The present disclosure relates to the technical field of resource recycling and provides a processing method for a waste oriented strand board and waste oriented wood chips, and an oriented strand board preparation method thereof. The processing method for a waste oriented strand board provided in the present disclosure includes the following steps: softening a waste oriented strand board to obtain a softened waste oriented strand board; and flaking the softened waste oriented strand board pieces using a disc flaker to obtain waste oriented wood chips. According to the present disclosure, the waste oriented strand board is softened first to be chipped readily. It is specified in the present disclosure that the disc flaker is used such that relatively intact wood chips can be obtained.
