Abstract:
A dispensing device for a dental material, comprises a container that has a passageway with a front opening for releasing the dental material, and a rear opening. The device has a first fill opening in the passageway arranged between the rear opening and the front opening. The device further has a second fill opening. The device is adapted to receive a piston in the passageway which is movable between the rear opening and the front opening.
Abstract:
A dispensing apparatus includes a body, two inlets for flowable masses and two outlets through which the flowable masses can be dispensed, with one inlet being connected to one outlet and the other inlet being connected to the other outlet through the body. The two inlets are spaced apart from one another by a first spacing and the two outlets are spaced apart from one another by a second spacing, and with the second spacing being larger than the first spacing. A connection ring engages the body and is pre-mounted to the body. The dispensing apparatus is configured to be non-releasably connected to a two-component cartridge via the connection ring for the supply of the flowable masses to the inlets.
Abstract:
The invention relates to a mixer (1) for mixing two components, in particular, a hardenable dental material. The mixer (1) has a mixer housing (2), a mixer element (4) and a cover (3). The mixer (1) has an annular chamber (17) that is in fluid communication with the mixing chamber of the mixer housing (2). The chamber (17) is defined by the cover (3), and by a plate (18) that is provided on the mixer element (4). The first of the inlet connections (12, 13) leading into mixer (1), ends in chamber (17), while the other ends downstream of plate (18) in the mixing chamber.
Abstract:
An apparatus, system and method for mixing and dispensing dental impression materials is described. A dental impression material mixing machine comprises a water dispenser fluidly coupled to a hollow mixing axle, the mixing axle extending through a pulley, wherein an inner circumference of the hollow mixing axle forms a water conduit and an outer circumference of the hollow mixing axle forms a hub connector, a closeable valve inserted at a water entrance to the water conduit and electronically coupled to a water pump, an electronically commutated motor rotatably coupled to the pulley, wherein the hub connector receives a tubular rotatable hub of a disposable mixing vessel comprising dry dental impression powder, and wherein water is dispensed from the water dispenser into the disposable mixing vessel through the water conduit and hub orifice.
Abstract:
A mixing tip for a dispenser according to the present invention includes a lower casing connected to the dispenser and to which a silicone base material and a curing agent are supplied, an upper casing coupled to the lower casing and including a discharge pipe through which an impression material having a desired mixing ratio of the silicone base material and the curing agent is discharged to the outside, and a mixer disposed between the lower casing and the upper casing to mix the silicone base material with the curing agent, wherein the mixer includes a mixing plate disposed between the lower casing and the upper casing and having a predetermined surface area, a shaft-fitting pipe extending downward from the mixing plate and fitted over a drive shaft of the dispenser to be rotated therewith, and a path control rib extending downward from an outer peripheral edge of the mixing plate to control flow paths of the silicone base material and the curing agent, wherein the lower casing includes a body including an upper casing-fitting ring formed at an outer peripheral edge thereof and coupled to the upper casing and an inner fitting ring spaced apart from the upper casing-fitting ring by a predetermined interval and extending from the body, a base material supply pipe extending downward from a bottom surface of the body to receive the silicone base material and to discharge the silicone base material into a mixing space defined between the path control rib and the mixing plate, and a curing agent supply pipe spaced from the base material supply pipe to receive the curing agent and to discharge the curing agent into a space defined between the path control rib and the inner fitting ring.

Abstract:
The present invention relates to a device (10) for dispensing a dental material. The device (10) comprises a body (12) having at least one compartment (14) for receiving the dental material, at least one piston for extruding the dental material from the compartment (14) and a drive for moving the piston and the compartment (14) relative to one another. The device (10) further comprises a stand (36) which is mounted to the body (12) such that the body (12) and the stand (36) are pivotally moveable relative to one other.
Abstract:
A dispensing cartridge, particularly for dental impression materials, formed from a plastic material having at least one inlet and at least one outlet, and including a metal reinforcement tube.
Abstract:
The invention relates to a hardenable dental composition comprising component (A) comprising a cationically hardenable compound, component (B) comprising an initiator being able to initiate the hardening reaction of the cationically hardenable compound, and component (C) comprising a filler, wherein the filler comprises a filler body and a filler surface, the filler surface comprising side groups with polar moieties. The invention also relates to a process of producing the dental composition, to the use of the dental composition as dental impression material and to a method of taking an impression of dental tissue.
Abstract:
A device (100) for dispensing a dental material which comprises a spindle drive (10) for driving a piston (111) for extruding the dental material. The spindle drive (10) comprises a pair of threaded spindles and a clasp nut member (20) which is adapted for engaging with anyone of the spindles.
