Abstract: In a method of operating an electronic device configured to communicate with a first external electronic device, a first communication link establishment request for establishing a first communication link between the electronic device and the first external electronic device is transmitted to the first external electronic device. Based on establishment of the first communication link, first link information, associated with a second communication link between the first external electronic device and a second external electronic device, is received from the first external electronic device. A first communication packet exchanged between the first external electronic device and the second external electronic device is sniffed based on the first link information. A first notification signal is generated based on a condition being met, the condition being met based on the sniffed first communication packet.

Abstract: An electronic device is provided. The electronic device includes a first communication processor configured to support first network communication with a first network, and a second communication processor configured to support second network communication with a second network, which is different from the first network. If both the first network communication and the second network communication are configured to be in a state capable of transmitting data, when the second communication processor is in a discontinuous reception (DRX) mode, the first communication processor is configured to identify an uplink packet to be transmitted and transmit the uplink packet using the first network communication, based on identifying that the second communication processor is in the DRX mode, and the second communication processor maintains the DRX mode, while the uplink packet is transmitted.
