    Abstract: Certain aspects of the present disclosure provide techniques for cross-carrier retransmission. A method that may be performed by a user equipment (UE) includes monitoring for an initial transmission of data from a network on a first entity, generating a negative acknowledgement message indicating that decoding of the initial transmission of the data was unsuccessful, transmitting the negative acknowledgement message, and monitoring for a retransmission of the data on a second entity after the transmission of the negative acknowledgement message, the second entity being different than the first entity.

    Abstract: Various aspects of the present disclosure generally relate to wireless communication. In some aspects, a user equipment (UE) may determine a set of beams, for which a corresponding uplink beam indication is not configured, associated with a set of transmit-receive points (TRPs) based at least in part on at least one of a downlink control information (DCI) configuration, a transmission configuration indicator (TCI) codepoint mapping, a control resource set (CORESET) configuration, or a TRP index, wherein the set of beams includes a sounding reference signal (SRS) beam or a physical uplink control channel (PUCCH) beam. The UE may communicate with the set of TRPs using the set of beams based at least in part on determining the set of beams. Numerous other aspects are provided.

    Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described. A user equipment (UE), that is configured for demodulation reference signal (DMRS) bundling, may receive a control message that schedules first and second sets of repetitions of an uplink transmission. The UE may determine a phase coherency configuration to be applied for DMRS transmissions corresponding to each set of repetitions. The phase coherency configuration may be determined based on a phase coherency capability of the UE, and the phase coherency configuration may specify that phase coherency is to be maintained for one or more of the first set of repetitions separate from one or more of the second set of repetitions. The UE may transmit the first set of repetitions with a first set of demodulation reference signals and the second set of repetitions with a second set of demodulation reference signals in accordance with the phase coherency configuration.

    Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described that support enhanced methods for indicating random access transmission beams. For example, a user equipment (UE) may transmit a set of uplink reference signals to a base station, each uplink reference signal corresponding to a respective uplink beam. The base station may receive the uplink reference signals and may determine signal qualities for the uplink beams. The base station may identify one or more uplink beams for the UE to use in subsequent random access procedures and may transmit control signaling to the UE indicating one or more beams for random access procedure transmissions. The UE may transmit random access messages to the base station using an uplink beam selected based on the control signaling received from the base station.

    Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described. A user equipment (UE) may perform beam sweeping for a physical uplink channel within time domain windows or across time domain windows based on a time domain window index. In cases where frequency hopping is enabled, the UE may transmit uplink repetitions and demodulation reference signals (DMRSs) across two frequency hops during two consecutive time domain windows using a first transmit beam, and may then follow up with transmissions across two frequency hops during the next two consecutive time domain windows using a second transmit beam. Or, the UE may transmit uplink repetitions and DMRSs in a first frequency hop with first and second transmit beams during two respective consecutive time domain windows, and may transmit in a second frequency hop with the first and second transmit beams during the next two respective consecutive time domain windows.
