Abstract: Aspects are provided for BTM-based load balancing. Various aspects relate generally to a method of load balancing where an AP multi-link device (MLD) recommends that a non-AP MLD move to an indicated set of links of the AP MLD and operate on the indicated set of links without purging context between the AP MLD and the non-AP MLD. In some examples, if the non-AP MLD does not comply, then the non-AP MLD may face disassociation from the AP MLD. Some aspects more specifically relate to recommending that the non-AP MLD move to an indicated set of links of a different AP MLD and operate on the indicated set of links of the different AP MLD after performing a multi-link setup with the different AP MLD. In some examples, the AP MLD may then disassociate from the non-AP MLD.

Abstract: This disclosure provides systems, methods, and apparatuses for wireless communication that can be used to establish a restricted target wake time (TWT) session on a wireless medium. In some implementations, an access point (AP) establishes a restricted TWT session for one or more wireless stations (STAs) associated with latency sensitive traffic, the restricted TWT session including restricted TWT service periods (SPs) during which the AP reserves access to the wireless medium for only the one or more STAs associated with the latency sensitive traffic. The AP transmits a clear-to-send (CTS) frame at a start of each restricted TWT SP, the CTS frame indicating to other STAs that the wireless medium is unavailable for a duration of the respective restricted TWT SP. The AP transmits latency sensitive data to or receives latency sensitive data from the one or more STAs during at least one of the restricted TWT SPs.

Abstract: In some implementations, a first access point (AP) selects one or more other APs for participation with the first AP in a coordinated access point transmission session. The first AP obtains a transmission opportunity (TXOP), and transmits a frame indicating scheduling information for uplink (UL) or downlink (DL) transmissions to or from the selected APs, the scheduling information indicating a respective start time for the UL or DL transmissions to or from the selected APs, at least two of the start times being offset from one another by a time period associated with decoding a preamble of a wireless packet. Abstract: This disclosure provides systems, methods and apparatus, including computer programs encoded on computer storage media, for managing data traffic in restricted target wake time (TWT) service periods (SPs). In some aspects, an access point (AP) may transmit a packet, at the beginning of a restricted TWT SP, that signals all non-member wireless stations (STAs) to defer access to the wireless medium for at least a threshold duration. Upon receiving the packet, any non-member STAs that are associated with the AP may set their network allocation vectors (NAVs) according to the duration indicated by a duration field of the received packet. In some implementations, low-latency STAs that are members of the TWT SP may not set their NAVs according to the duration field of the received packet. Instead, the low-latency STAs may access the wireless medium before the NAVs associated with the non-member STAs expire.
