摘要: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communication are described. A communication device may receive a beacon signal and, in response, may transmit a preamble based on an indicated preamble configuration. In some examples, the received beacon signal may be associated with one or more power signature identifier. In some cases, the communication device may determine a set of resource elements based on the one or more power signature and may transmit the preamble based on the determined set of resources elements. In some cases, in response to receiving the beacon signal, the communication device may transmit a report including an indication of the subset of resource elements. In some examples, a communication device may transmit a preamble that may include a request for cell information associated with a received beacon signal.

摘要: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described. Different periodicities may be dynamically selected when monitoring and transmitting signaling used for link management, where respective periodicities may be based on the quality of the link between devices. For instance, a first wireless device may use a first monitoring periodicity to monitor for signals transmitted from another wireless device. Upon determining that a link condition has changed (e.g., decreased or reached a threshold), the first wireless device may decrease its monitoring periodicity (and increase monitoring frequency) to detect signals transmitted by the other wireless device more frequently. In such cases, the other wireless device may likewise transmit its measurement signals more often (e.g., in accordance with a second periodicity) based on the link quality. The adjusted monitoring and transmission periodicities may provide additional occasions for the wireless device to detect signals from another device.

摘要: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described. A wireless device may configure one or more first sets of resources of a radio frequency spectrum band associated with a first pathloss mode, and may configure one or more second sets of resources associated with a second pathloss mode. Each set of resources may be configured with some transmission timing parameters and frame structure, such that a transmission time interval (TTI) associated with the first pathloss mode may be different from the TTI associated with the second pathloss mode. The wireless device may communicate with a second wireless device using the one or more first sets of resources based on identifying a pathloss value is below an identified pathloss threshold. Additionally, the wireless device may communicate with a third device using the one or more second sets of resources based on identifying a pathloss value satisfies the identified pathloss threshold.

摘要: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described. A first base station may receive, from a plurality of user equipments (UEs), a plurality of uplink signals that include feedback information for the plurality of UEs. A first UE of the plurality of UEs may be associated with the first base station and a second UE of the plurality of UEs may be associated with a second base station. The first base station may modify a plurality of sets of beam weights for a plurality of downlink signals, where each modified set of beam weights corresponds to a respective downlink signal of the plurality of downlink signals. The first base station may transmit, to the first UE, a first downlink signal of the plurality of downlink signals using a first modified set of beam weights of the of the plurality of sets of beam weights.

摘要: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described in which RF-domain wireless routers may repeat, extend, or redirect beamformed wireless signals received from one or more transmitters to one or more receivers. The router may receive transmissions at a mmW frequency using a first array of antenna elements, and provide the transmissions to a beamforming network, such as a Butler matrix, that outputs one or more a signals to a switching network. The switching network may perform switching to provide the one or more signals to desired inputs of an output beamforming network that outputs beamformed transmission beams via a second array of antenna elements.

摘要: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described that provide for the management of different operation modes in wireless systems. For example, wireless device(s) may operate in a high pathloss operation mode or a normal pathloss operation mode based on the pathloss experienced between the transmitting and receiving devices. In some cases, a first wireless device may transmit a message to a second wireless device to configure a bandwidth part (BWP) for high pathloss mode communications. The message may be transmitted via control signaling and after receipt of the message, the second wireless device may enter a high pathloss mode for communications with the first wireless device (e.g., after a given time duration). Some parameters may be configurable (e.g., transmission duration, coding scheme) between high pathloss mode and normal pathloss mode, while other parameters may remain the same (e.g., processing time, switching time).

摘要: Systems, apparatuses, and methods for enhancement for amplify-and-forward relay. Instead of merely passing received signal from a source, relay may equalize the received signal based on reference signal contained in the received signal, before amplifying and transmitting the signal to a destination. Compared to amplify-and-forward, equalize-and-forward may compensate the received source signal for various imperfections such as channel distortions and phase errors, using demodulation reference signal and phase tracking reference signal. The relay may apply Fast Fourier Transform (FFT) to equalize the signal in tone domain.

摘要: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described that provide for transmission of random access preambles from a UE based at least in part on a synchronization signal block (SSB) that is received from a base station. A random access response may be transmitted from the base station based at least in part on a random access resource that is used for the random access preamble, an SSB associated with the random access resource, an SSB index, or combinations thereof. In some cases, two or more SSBs may be mapped to a single random access resource, and a single random access radio network temporary identifier (RA-RNTI), or two or more RA-RNTIs, may be used for each of the two or more SSBs. In some cases, a single random access response message contains information for each UE that transmits a random access preamble in the single random access resource.
