    Abstract: Aspects presented herein may improve the accuracy of uplink-based positioning when at least one network entity participating in the uplink-based positioning is operating under an energy saving mode. In one aspect, a network entity receives information indicative of a set of antenna panel configurations for a plurality of network nodes, where the set of antenna panel configurations is associated with a set of energy saving modes. The network entity transmits an indication of one or more UL-SRS transmission parameters for a UE based on the information indicative of the set of antenna panel configurations for the plurality of network nodes. In some examples, each antenna panel configuration in the set of antenna panel configurations may include a number of antennas to be used in an UL azimuth angle measurement and a number of antennas to be used in an UL elevation angle measurement under one energy saving mode.

    Abstract: Certain aspects of the present disclosure provide techniques for adaptive node activation and configuration in cooperative sensing. A method that may be performed by a sensing management function (SnMF) entity includes receiving a first radio frequency (RF) sensing request, from a first entity, for scanning an environment to detect at least a first object, initiating a first RF sensing session in the environment in response to the first RF sensing request, receiving a second RF sensing request, from a second entity, for scanning the environment to detect at least a second object during the first RF sensing session, accommodating the second RF sensing request using output from the first RF sensing session, wherein the first RF sensing session is ongoing, detecting the first and second objects in the environment, and transmitting information about the detected first and second object to the first and second entity, respectively.

    Abstract: A sensing method includes: implementing, at a UE, a sensitivity time control profile to change a gain applied over time to a sensing signal received by the UE; and measuring the sensing signal to obtain a sensing signal measurement; wherein the method comprises at least one of: obtaining the sensitivity time control profile based on a sensitivity time control message received by the UE from a network entity; or transmitting a sensing report from the UE to the network entity, the sensing report indicating a measurement of the sensing signal and that sensitivity time control was implemented to obtain the sensing signal measurement.
