Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described. In some examples, a first cell of a network entity may receive a first control message indicating a configuration associated with a user equipment (UE). Additionally, the first cell may identify a condition associated with transmitting a second control message indicating for the UE to perform a cell switch procedure. In some examples, the first cell may determine whether to forward the first control message to the UE based on the condition. In some other examples, the first cell may forward the first control message and transmit the second control message within the threshold duration of forwarding the first control message. In such cases, the UE may trigger the cell switch procedure based on receiving the second control message and may determine whether to apply the configuration associated with the first control message.

Abstract: Disclosed are techniques for wireless communication. In an aspect, a UE (e.g., an initiator UE) transmits sidelink discovery messages for beam training on a bandwidth associated with DMRS. One or more UEs (e.g., candidate responder UEs) select a beam to pair with a beam associated with one of the sidelink discovery messages, and transmit a sidelink discovery message on the selected beam. In another aspect, a UE (e.g., initiator UE) transmits a sidelink discovery message, which is forwarded to a UE, which may be a lead UE of a sidelink UE group. The lead UE adds the initiator UE to the sidelink UE group, and responds with a sidelink discovery response message and a group indication that at least indicates that the initiator UE now belongs to the sidelink UE group.

The UE may transmit a recovery request that indicates a new beam for a beam reset by the UE, where the new beam is associated with a first group of physical uplink control channel (PUCCH) resources for the first TRP if the beam is the first beam, or associated with a second group of PUCCH resources for the second TRP if the beam is the second beam. Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described. In some wireless communications systems, a base station may transmit sets of network coding encoded packets user equipments (UEs), and each set of network coding encoded packets may be associated with a redundancy overhead. The base station may dynamically identify the redundancy overhead for transmitting sets of network coding encoded packets to each UE based on a failure rate associated with a previous transmission of network coding encoded packets to that UE. For example, the base station may determine a failure rate associated with a transmission of a first set of network coding encoded packets and may identify a redundancy overhead associated with one or more second sets of network coding encoded packets based on the determined failure rate. In some cases, the base station may identify different redundancy overheads for transmissions of network coding encoded packets to different UEs.

Abstract: A method for wireless communication at a user equipment (UE) and related apparatus are provided. In the method, the UE receives a configuration of a set of cells configured for layer 1 (L1) or layer 2 (L2) inter-cell mobility.
