    Abstract: Method and apparatus for configuring a UE with a relay measurement configuration for measuring one or more candidate relays in preparation of switching to a target relay. The apparatus receives, from a source relay, a candidate relay configuration. The candidate relay configuration including information of candidate relays and a relay measurement configuration. The apparatus measures a reference signal of the source relay and each of the candidate relays based on the candidate relay configuration. The apparatus transmits, to the source relay, a measurement report of the reference signal of the subset of candidate relays. The apparatus establishes a connection with a subset of candidate relays. The apparatus receives, from the source relay, a relay switch command to switch to a target relay from the subset of candidate relays.

    Abstract: Various aspects of the present disclosure generally relate to wireless communication. In some aspects, a user equipment (UE) may receive, from a base station, a configuration message that indicates a radio resource allocation and a transmission scheme for one or more first configured grant-small data transfer (CG-SDT) occasions and one or more second CG-SDT occasions. The one or more second CG-SDT occasions are at least partially nested, in time, frequency, or a combination thereof, within the one or more first CG-SDT occasions. The UE may therefore transmit, to the base station, an uplink communication within the one or more first CG-SDT occasions or the one or more second CG-SDT occasions, using the radio resource allocation and the transmission scheme.     Abstract: Aspects of the disclosure relate to random access procedures. In one example, a UE initiates a random access procedure with a base station, and receives a random access response (RAR) message from the base station in response to the initiating of the random access procedure. The UE further determines a redundancy version (RV) pattern comprising a sequence of a plurality of RVs. The UE also transmits an uplink (UL) communication to the base station as part of the random access procedure. The UL communication comprises a plurality of repetitions of a UL message, each repetition being an iteration of the UL message that is configured by applying a respective RV of the plurality of RVs to the UL message based on the sequence. The UE further receives a downlink message from the base station based on the UL message. Other aspects, embodiments, and features are also claimed and described.

    Abstract: In at least one embodiment, a user equipment (e.g., a mobile device) may receive a location request message from a server (e.g., a Location Management Function), wherein the location request message identifies a plurality of Quality of Service parameters for the LTE Positioning Protocol (LPP) positioning session. In at least one embodiment, the user equipment may receive a selection of one or more Quality of Service parameters for the LPP positioning session. In at least one embodiment, the user equipment may configure the user equipment according to the one or more selected Quality of Service parameters. In at least one embodiment, the user equipment may generate a location response message according to the selected QoS parameters. The user equipment may send the location response message to the server. A UE can select the QoS parameters during communication with a server and/or with a second UE via sidelink communications.

    Abstract: Aspects of the disclosure relate to obtaining a duplex mode of a scheduled entity, selecting a downlink-uplink (DU) slot interpretation to be applied by the scheduled entity to a slot including a DU symbol based on the duplex mode of the scheduled entity, and transmitting the DU slot interpretation to the scheduled entity. The DU symbol may be configured to include a downlink transmission and an uplink transmission within a same carrier bandwidth.
