In some aspects, a user equipment may select at least one target node for a radio resource control connection, wherein the user equipment is in a particular radio resource control communication state when the at least one target node is selected, and wherein the user equipment is configured to communicate using dual-connectivity, wherein context information associated with the user equipment is stored by the user equipment, a master node associated with the user equipment, and a secondary node associated with the user equipment based at least in part on the user equipment being in the particular radio resource control communication state; and/or transmit information to the at least one target node or the master node to cause the context information to be provided to the at least one target node. In some aspects, a relay user equipment (UE) may establish a sidelink unicast link with a remote UE via a sidelink signaling interface. The relay UE may identify configuration information for an adaptation layer of the sidelink signaling interface, the configuration information including at least one of a remote UE identifier associated with the sidelink unicast link for a relay service, bearer identifier information identifying one or more bearers between the remote UE and a network entity for the relay service, a radio link control (RLC) channel mapping between a bearer identifier and one or more RLC channels, or data routing information associated with the relay service. The relay UE may relay communications between the remote UE and the network entity based at least in part on the configuration information. Numerous other aspects are described.

An exemplary method generally includes communicating with a first network using a first set of credentials, wherein the UE includes a second set of credentials associated with a second network; receiving a paging message for an information transmission in the second network, wherein the paging message includes service priority information corresponding to the information transmission; determining, from the service priority information, a service priority value corresponding to the information transmission based, at least in part, on policy configuration information; determining whether to establish a connection in the second network in response to the paging message based, at least in part, on the service priority value; and taking one or more actions based, at least in part, on the determination.

Abstract: This disclosure provides systems, methods, apparatus, and computer programs encoded on a computer storage media for providing user equipment mobility history information to a remote computing platform. In one aspect, a user equipment may store user equipment mobility history information in memory within the user equipment. The user equipment may determine whether a radio access network connection state has changed from a primary cell in a radio resource controller state to another cell outside a radio access network, to an inter-radio access technology cell, or to an out of service. The user equipment may transmit the user equipment mobility history information to the remote computing platform in response to determining that the user equipment radio access network connection state has changed from a primary cell in a radio resource controller state to another cell outside a radio access network, an inter-radio access technology cell, or an out of service state.

In some aspects, a user equipment (UE) may receive information related to a dedicated preconfigured uplink resource (DPUR) in a message releasing the UE to an idle mode or an inactive mode. For example, in some aspects, the information related to the DPUR may identify one or more uplink resources that are allocated to the UE to enable the UE to initiate an uplink data transmission in the idle mode or the inactive mode. The UE may transmit, based at least in part on the information related to the DPUR, uplink data while in the idle mode or the inactive mode. Numerous other aspects are provided.
