Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described. A user equipment (UE) may identify a bandwidth part (BWP) to switch to after identifying consistent uplink listen-before-talk (LBT) failures on a first BWP based on parameters indicated by a base station. For example, the base station may transmit a switching parameter to the UE that the UE then uses to switch to a second BWP based on identifying the consistent uplink LBT failures on the first BWP. Subsequently, after selecting the second BWP, the UE may attempt to use the second BWP for uplink transmissions (e.g., after performing a random access procedure). Additionally, the UE may indicate the consistent uplink LBT failures to a base station associated with the failed BWP based on a type of cell that is using that failed BWP.

Abstract: Techniques providing opportunistic frequency switching for frame based equipment (FBE), such as may be configured to minimize opportunistic frequency switching delay in FBE new radio (NR) unlicensed (NR-U) networks and/or to provide frequency diversity FBE access based on offset sequences of medium sensing occasions for the carrier frequencies are disclosed. Within the FBE mode network, a base station may configure a pattern of sensing locations in each frame for each frequency transmission unit of the plurality of frequency transmission units, wherein an inter-unit delay of sensing locations between a first frequency transmission unit and a next adjacent frequency transmission unit and between a last frequency transmission unit and the first frequency transmission unit is a fixed duration. Opportunistic frequency switching of embodiments may utilize the medium sensing locations for opportunistically switching between a sequence of the frequency transmission units for implementing frequency diversity FBE access.

Abstract: This disclosure provides systems, methods, and apparatuses for wireless communication. A user equipment (UE) may acquire a triggering synchronization signal block (SSB), which enables the UE to monitor for a floating Type-2 physical downlink control channel (PDCCH) and to determine a subset of paging occasions (POs) to monitor. Or, the UE may monitor for a fixed Type-2 PDCCH, where the UE does not require a triggering signal to monitors POs. In another aspect, the UE may monitor for a paging transmission during a monitoring period. The UE may determine the monitoring period based on received signaling. The UE may receive the signaling, during the monitoring period, indicating that the monitoring period is to be ended before a scheduled end of the monitoring period. In this way, the UE may support a continuity requirement associated with downlink reference signaling (DRS) and may support reception of paging in a shared channel.

Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described. A user equipment (UE) may receive, from a base station serving the UE in a first network, a power control configuration and a reference signal measurement configuration. The UE may receive, based at least in part on the reference signal measurement configuration, a reference signal from at least one wireless device of a second network. The UE may determine, based at least in part on the power control configuration and the received reference signal, an interference level for the second network introduced by the first network. The UE may adjust a transmission power limit for the UE based at least in part on the determined interference level and the power control configuration. The UE may transmit signals to the base station according to the adjusted transmission power limit.

The UE may refrain from transmitting over the unlicensed channel during the one or more idle periods. Abstract: A discovery measurement timing configuration (DMTC) window reservation signal is disclosed for new radio (NR) shared spectrum (NR-SS) networks. The DMTC window is defined providing a reserved location for transmission of essential control signaling and potentially high priority traffic that may be transmitted in a prioritized manner. Access within the DMTC window may be provided with a clear channel assessment (CCA) exempt transmission (CET) option or a non-CET option. When the CET option is used, the reservation duration and period may be conveyed through the channel reservation signal. User equipments (UEs) that detect the reservation signal may re-transmit with added offset to inform neighboring base station that may not be within range of the serving base station. Base station that receive either the transmitted or re-transmitted reservation signal will refrain from communications that may interfere with the reception at the UEs.
