Abstract:
A high-pressure-resistant hermetic seal terminal includes an eyelet which has a through hole and a lead which is electrically insulated and hermetically sealed via a glass material in the through hole. The glass material is welded in a manner to extend on a lower surface of the eyelet from an end of the through hole to surroundings of the end of the through hole. Preferably, the eyelet has a counterbore, in the lower surface, extending in a region around and surrounding the through hole, and the glass material is welded to the inside of the counterbore.
Abstract:
A start permission decision section issues a start permission when an engine speed and a throttle valve opening become higher than predetermined values. A clutch-torque capacity storage section stores a clutch-torque capacity reference map in which a clutch-torque capacity is set as a function of at least the engine speed or as a function of the engine speed and the throttle valve opening. A clutch-torque capacity correction section corrects the clutch-torque capacity reference map so that the clutch-torque capacity is proportionally reduced in response to the difference between the engine speed and a start permission speed when a start permission is issued. An oil pressure controlling section connects the clutch with the clutch-torque capacity obtained in accordance with the corrected clutch-torque capacity map to start the vehicle.
Abstract:
An apparatus includes a clutch control unit to control a control amount of a clutch and a brake to temporarily stop an output side rotating body while the clutch is disconnected. A clutch-control-amount detector detects the control amount of the clutch and an engagement start detector detects an engagement start of the clutch when a rotational speed difference between the input side rotating body and the output side rotating body becomes equal to or less than a predetermined value. An engagement-start control-amount detector detects the control amount of the clutch in the engagement start and a clutch-correction-control-amount deriver derives a correction control amount of the clutch based on the control amount of the clutch at the time when the engagement start is detected after the output side rotating body is temporarily stopped. The clutch control unit feedback-controls the control amount of the clutch based on the correction control amount.
Abstract:
A speed change controlling apparatus in which the mode of driving force transmission is depends upon the roll angle of a vehicle body. When a roll angle is within a range from a second roll angle, which corresponds to a full bank state, to a first roll angle, speed change operation is carried out by soft speed change control in which variation of the driving force with respect to time is smaller than that by normal speed change control. If the roll angle is within another range from the first roll angle to a third roll angle, then normal speed change is carried out and if the roll angle is within a further range from an uprightly standing state to the third roll angle, then speed change operation is executed by direct speed change. When the roll angle is greater than the second roll angle, speed change is inhibited.
Abstract:
Provided is a pneumatic tire having a tread surface (1) with a tread pattern having: at least two circumferential grooves (2) extending in the tire circumferential direction to define land sections (3) on the outer sides in the tire width direction; and lateral grooves (4) extending in the tire width direction to partition the land sections (3) into a large number of blocks (5). In addition, in each of the blocks (5), a cutout (6) is formed in the center region of an edge portion of the block (5), the edge facing the corresponding circumferential groove (2). The cutout (6) has plural steps in the tire width direction. This structure improves the performance of running on a muddy ground with the resistance to uneven wear and the driving stability on general road surfaces maintained respectively at sufficient levels.
Abstract:
A shift map switching control unit includes a fuel level sensor 72, plural shift maps for deriving the shift timing of an automatic transmission 1b, and a controller 101 that selects one shift map out of the plural shift maps and controls the shift of the automatic transmission 1b according to the selected shift map. The controller 101 switches a standard shift map 103 to a high fuel economy shift map 104 in which fuel consumption is reduced when it is sensed that the residual quantity of fuel is equal to or below a predetermined value. An operational mode display lamp 99 displays the selected shift map. As the residual quantity of fuel is sensed, based upon a mean value of output signals from the fuel level sensor 72 in predetermined time, the shift maps can be prevented from being frequently switched.

The present invention provides a sustained-release pharmaceutical composition, characterized in that, there are contained tamsulosin or a pharmaceutically acceptable salt thereof and a carrier for a sustained-release pharmaceutical composition and the ratio (Cmin/Cmax ratio) of the plasma tamsulosin concentration at 24 hours after the administration of the preparation per os (Cmin) to the maximum plasma tamsulosin concentration after the administration (Cmax) is about 0.4 or more.
Abstract:
To automatically shift the shift position of an automatic transmission depending on whether or not the rider is seated or the side stand is retracted. When the vehicle is at a stop with an engine running, and it is detected that the rider is not sitting on a rider seat, an automatic transmission is automatically shifted to the neutral range while maintaining the operation of the engine. Further, when the vehicle is at a stop with the engine running, and the automatic transmission has been in the drive range continuously for a predetermined period of time, provided that the rider is not sitting on the rider seat, the automatic transmission is automatically shifted to the neutral range. Further, when, in a state with a side stand retracted, the throttle opening is equal to or smaller than a predetermined opening, the automatic transmission is automatically shifted to the drive range.
Abstract:
An Escherichia bacterium having dihydrodipicolinate synthase and aspartokinase, both of which are desensitized to feedback inhibition by L-lysine. The intracellular activity of dihydrodipicolinate reductase in this bacterium can also be enhanced. Furthermore, a diaminopimelate dehydrogenase gene can be introduced into this bacterium, or intracellular activities of tetrahydrodipicolinate succinylase and succinyl diaminopimelate deacylase can be enhanced. Finally, the intracellular activities of aspartate-semialdehyde dehydrogenase or phosphoenolpyruvate carboxylase can be enhanced in this bacterium. The bacterium can be cultured in a suitable medium to produce and accumulate L-lysine in culture, and the L-lysine is collected from the culture.
