    摘要: A circularly knit brassiere having a body with a pair of breast-receiving cups formed from a three-ply blank. The three ply blank has a middle ply that knitted using terry loop stitches. A method of circularly knitting a three-ply brassiere blank is provided that includes knitting a middle ply, using terry loop stitches, having a first end and a second end, and knitting a body-contacting ply connected to the second end of the first ply. The method further provides for transferring held loops from the end of the body-contacting ply to the first end of the middle ply to thereby fold the body-contacting-ply inside of the middle ply. The method also includes knitting a torso-encircling welt to the end of the body-contacting ply and transferring held loops from the torso-encircling welt to the first end; and knitting an outer ply to the torso-encircling welt.

    摘要: Prior to transitioning a multiple-displacement engine from a full-displacement engine operating mode to a partial-displacement engine operating mode, a base slip rate of a torque converter coupled to the engine engine is increased by a predetermined slip rate offset. The engine is then transitioned to partial-displacement mode upon the earlier of either achieving the desired offset slip rate, or once a maximum time delay has occurred since the slip rate offset was enabled. An offset slip rate is maintained throughout partial-displacement engine operation, and through a transition back to a full-displacement mode. The slip rate offset is removed or disenabled once the engine is again operating in the full-displacement mode. The slip rate offset is either a calibratable constant or is determined as a function of one or more suitable engine or vehicle operating parameters affecting vehicle NVH levels, such as engine speed and vehicle speed.

    摘要: An integrated fuel management system and method for controlling the fuel storage and delivery in a vehicle. The fuel management system includes a fuel storage tank for storing fuel in a vehicle, a vapor collection canister located within the fuel storage tank, a vent actuator coupled to the vapor collection canister for venting gas from the canister during a vent operation, and a purge actuator is coupled to the vapor collection canister for purging fuel vapor from the vapor collection canister during a purge operation. A variable speed fuel pump is disposed within the fuel storage tank for delivering fuel to a fuel delivery line for an engine. The fuel management system has a controller provided in a module disposed in communication with the fuel for controlling the amount of fuel pumped with the variable speed fuel pump to deliver fuel to the fuel delivery line and further controlling the purge and vent actuators.

    摘要: Commercial establishments that add MICR indicia to commercial instruments usually do so via laser printers that produce a high gain signal. Moreover, commercially printed documents that include MICR indicia can also result in a high gain signal. MICR indicia generated by laser printers are difficult to decode, using conventional DC biasing methods, because the laser-generated MICR high gain signals become clipped. Therefore, in order to decode these distorted signals, the present system processes both low and high gain signals to decode the raw MICR data.

However, if the state in which the vehicle is present belongs to two time zones, a state portion where the vehicle is present is obtained on the basis of the boundary information and the vehicle's present position, and a time display is provided on the basis of the difference in time corresponding to the time zone associated with said state portion.
