    Abstract: Systems and methods are disclosed for a network inventory service (NIS). An NIS may, for example, profile a private network for personalized advertising by recording a list of devices connected to the private network, recording traffic data for the private network, and generating profile associated with the private network based on the recorded list of devices and the recorded traffic data. The NIS may be notified, e.g., of a device within the private network, an advertising avail, request, from an advertising service, a targeted advertisement based on the user profile, and cause the targeted advertisement to be inserted in the advertising avail. In some embodiments, an NIS may work in conjunction with an inventory profile service (IPS) and/or an ad presentation service (APS). An IPS may deliver rules for analyzing new devices and/or network traffic and an APS may communicate with the NIS along with various advertiser networks to supply personalized ads.

    Abstract: Systems and methods are described for creating a non-curated viewing perspective in a video game platform based on a curated viewing perspective. For example, a user may be viewing a gameplay video of a video game. The user may be interested in viewing the same gameplay from a different perspective in the video game. Accordingly, a media guidance application may identify the video game in the video and retrieve video game engine data associated with the video game, to replicate, on a video game console, the gameplay depicted in the video. The user may be able to change the perspective (e.g., in-game position of the camera and the camera angle) within the replicated video game platform, via user commands. In response to receiving a user command to change the curated viewing perspective to a non-curated viewing perspective, the media guidance application may re-render the gameplay from the non-curated viewing perspective.

    Abstract: Systems and methods for determining emotional responses to videos, generating emotional arc based on the responses and reactions, and determining the type and/or point of insertion of secondary content based on the determined emotional responses are disclosed. The methods display primary content to a plurality of users and determine their emotional response as they consume the primary content. An average emotional arc is generated based on the determined emotional response and it is compared to a current emotional arc generated based on emotional response from a current user. When values of the current emotional are within a predefined range of the average emotional arc at a particular play position in the timeline of the primary content, a secondary content that is designated for the value of the current emotional arc is inserted in the primary content at the particular play position.

    Abstract: Systems and methods are disclosed herein for establishing a communication path between devices that are virtually proximate in an XR environment. First and second user devices are connected to the same space in a virtual environment (VE). The first user device is externally connected to a media device. Device information about the media device is retrieved, and a virtual device for the media device is generated in the space. The virtual device is selected. A communication path between the first and second user devices is identified based on their respective connections to the same space. A virtual connection is generated based on the identified communication path for providing media content between the media device and the user devices.
