    摘要: A fuse component (1) has a fuse element (2). The fuse element (2) is located inside an isolating body (3) and the fuse element (2) extends between the two end faces of the isolating body (3). Each of the end faces of the isolating body (3) are closed by electrical conductive end caps (4) and the end caps (4) are in electrical contact with the fuse element (2). The isolating body (3) includes at least two shells (5a, 5b); at least in the region of the end caps (4), and the shells (5a, 5b) in the assembled state form a channel (6) to receive the fuse element (2).

    摘要: A device for monitoring and indicating a fuse tube detachment from a fuse cutout assembly contains a structural body, a tilt switch, a power source, a visual indicator, and an attachment mechanism. The attachment mechanism is used to mount the device onto the fuse tube. The tilt switch monitors the position of the fuse tube. More specifically, when the vertical position of the fuse tube changes to the dropped position the tilt switch is triggered. Thus, the visual indicator is illuminated. The illumination aids in the process of discovering the detached fuse tube. In addition to the visual indicator, the device can also be equipped with a wireless communication device and an alarm system. The wireless communication device can be used to provide the exact location of the detached fuse tube. On the other hand, the alarm system can be used to expedite the process of discovering the detached fuse tube.

In certain aspects, the fuse includes a pair of electro-conductive terminals, a fuse element having a fusion portion provided between the electro-conductive terminals, and an insulating housing mounted so as to cover at least a part of the fusion portion and the electro-conductive terminals, wherein a notch is provided on a lower-end side of the insulating housing, the notch is located between the pair of electro-conductive terminals and at a position that does not interfere with the shape of the fusion portion provided between the pair of electro-conductive terminals, and the notch is formed in a manner that a protrusion provided in a fuse box for housing the fuse can be fitted therein.
