摘要: A fuse component (1) has a fuse element (2). The fuse element (2) is located inside an isolating body (3) and the fuse element (2) extends between the two end faces of the isolating body (3). Each of the end faces of the isolating body (3) are closed by electrical conductive end caps (4) and the end caps (4) are in electrical contact with the fuse element (2). The isolating body (3) includes at least two shells (5a, 5b); at least in the region of the end caps (4), and the shells (5a, 5b) in the assembled state form a channel (6) to receive the fuse element (2).

摘要: A fuse (1) includes a fuse element (10) having a fusible portion (13) provided between opposed inner edges (11a, 12a) of flat plate portions (11, 12), and an insulating housing (50) covering the inner edge sides of the flat plate portions and the fusible portion in a state in which outer edge (11c, 12c) sides of the flat plate portions are protruded outward from slits at respective end walls (55, 58) of the insulating housing (50). The outer edge sides of the flat plate portions are formed as terminal portions (21, 22) each having a thickness twice as large as the thickness of the flat plate portion, and protrusions (11b, 12b) provided on upper and lower edges of the flat plate portions abut against inner surfaces of the end walls (55, 58) of the insulating housing (50).

摘要: Embodiments of the fuse include a fuse body having a first end and a second end. A fuse element is disposed within a cavity of the fuse body, an end of the fuse element extending beyond an edge of the fuse body. An arc disc is disposed on the edge of the fuse body, and includes a notch such that the end of the fuse element extends to an outer surface of the arc disc. The end of the fuse element is configured to be folded over the outer surface of the arc disc. An end cap is disposed over the end of the fuse body and the arc disc, and the end cap includes a hole at a top surface. Solder deposited within the hole provides an electrical connection between the arc disc, the fuse element, and the end cap.

摘要: A device for monitoring and indicating a fuse tube detachment from a fuse cutout assembly contains a structural body, a tilt switch, a power source, a visual indicator, and an attachment mechanism. The attachment mechanism is used to mount the device onto the fuse tube. The tilt switch monitors the position of the fuse tube. More specifically, when the vertical position of the fuse tube changes to the dropped position the tilt switch is triggered. Thus, the visual indicator is illuminated. The illumination aids in the process of discovering the detached fuse tube. In addition to the visual indicator, the device can also be equipped with a wireless communication device and an alarm system. The wireless communication device can be used to provide the exact location of the detached fuse tube. On the other hand, the alarm system can be used to expedite the process of discovering the detached fuse tube.
