    摘要: A rubber composition is provided which is excellent in crosslinking characteristics and processability and is excellent in durability and heat resistance after crosslinking by using a sulfur-based crosslinking agent and a peroxide crosslinking agent in combination. The rubber composition includes 100 parts by mass of ethylene-propylene non-conjugated polyene copolymer, 1 to 3 parts by mass of peroxide crosslinking agent, and 0.1 to 0.6 parts by mass of thiazole-based crosslinking promoter. A content ratio of propylene is 30 to 55 percent by the total content of ethylene and propylene in the EPDM polymer.

    摘要: [Problem] The purpose of the invention is to provide: a thermoplastic elastomer composition capable of providing molded articles that are lightweight, have better oil resistance than those provided by conventional cross-linked thermoplastic elastomers, and have hardness and mechanical properties such as tensile strength and tensile elongation that are equal to or superior to those provided by conventional cross-linked thermoplastic elastomers; and an ethylene/α-olefin/unconjugated polyene copolymer having little compression set at low temperature as well as flexibility and an excellent balance of rubber elasticity at low temperature and tensile strength at normal temperature.
    [Solution] Produced are: a thermoplastic elastomer composition obtained by dynamically crosslinking a mixture containing a crystalline olefin polymer (A), an ethylene/α-olefin (having 4-20 carbon atoms)/unconjugated polyene copolymer (1B) that satisfies specific requirements, and a phenol resin-based crosslinking agent (C); and an ethylene-α-olefin/unconjugated polyene copolymer (2B) that satisfies specific requirements.

    摘要: An olefin-based copolymer and method of making the same are disclosed herein. In some embodiments, the olefin-based copolymer includes a repeating unit derived from an alpha-olefin, wherein the alphas-olefin is present in the copolymer at 15 wt % to 45 wt %, wherein the copolymer has a density (d) of 0.85 to 0.89 g/cc, a melt index (MI), measured at 190° C. and 2.16 kg load, of 15 g/10 min to 100 g/10 min, and a hardness defined by Equation 1. The olefin-based copolymer has improved hardness and is highly flowable, and may show improved physical properties of tensile strength, elongation rate and flexural modulus.

    摘要: An ethylene copolymer composition comprises: a first ethylene copolymer having a density of from 0.855 to 0.913 g/cm3, a molecular weight distribution, Mw/Mn of from 1.7 to 2.3, and a melt index, I2 of from 0.1 to 20 g/10 min; a second ethylene copolymer having a density of from 0.875 to 0.936 g/cm3, a molecular weight distribution, Mw/Mn of from 2.3 to 6.0, and a melt index, I2 of from 0.3 to 100 g/10 min; and optionally a third ethylene copolymer; where the first ethylene copolymer has more short chain branches per thousand carbon atoms than the second ethylene copolymer and the density of the second ethylene copolymer is equal to or higher than the density of the first ethylene copolymer. The ethylene copolymer composition has a density of from 0.865 to 0.913 g/cm3; a melt index, I2 of from 0.5 to 10 g/10 min; and a fraction eluting at from 90 to 105° C., having an integrated area of greater than 4 weight percent in a CTREF analysis; and at least 0.0015 parts per million (ppm) of hafnium.
    Blown film made from the ethylene copolymer composition has a hot tack window (HTW) of at least 45° C. (at a film thickness of about 2 mil) and a seal initiation temperature (SIT) of less than 95° C. (at a film thickness of about 2 mil).

    摘要: A process to produce a branched ethylene-α-olefin diene elastomer comprising combining a catalyst precursor and an activator with a feed comprising ethylene, C3 to C12 α-olefins, and a dual-polymerizable diene to obtain a branched ethylene-α-olefin diene elastomer; where the catalyst precursor is selected from pyridyldiamide and quinolinyldiamido transition metal complexes. The branched ethylene-α-olefin diene elastomer may comprise within a range from 40 to 80 wt % of ethylene-derived units by weight of the branched ethylene-α-olefin diene elastomer, and 0.1 to 2 wt % of singly-polymerizable diene derived units, 0.1 to 2 wt % of singly-polymerizable diene derived units, and the remainder comprising C3 to C12 α-olefin derived units, wherein the branched ethylene-α-olefin diene elastomer has a weight average molecular weight (Mw) within a range from 100 kg/mole to 300 kg/mole, an average branching index (g′avg) of 0.9 or more, and a branching index at very high Mw (g′1000) of less than 0.9.
