摘要： A side rail can define an exterior and an interior channel. A coupling strip within the exterior channel of the side rail can be positioned to selectively engage with a coupling strip of a tonneau cover. An end cap can be positioned on an end of the side rail. The end cap having an end face can include an interior extension within the interior channel and an exterior tab extension within the exterior channel between the longitudinal raised side portions. A retaining fastener can extend through the exterior tab extension and can fix the end cap to the side rail without the retaining fastener passing through the coupling strip. The exterior tab extension can limit longitudinal sliding movement of the coupling strip within the exterior channel.

摘要： A storage rack provides convenient and secure storage of vehicle roof panels or “T-tops”. The storage rack can be used both in a rear compartment of the vehicle during travel or outside the vehicle such as in a garage. The storage rack has two sets of arms to store the T-tops at an angle in the rear compartment of the vehicle to give the driver full visibility out the rear window. The storage rack arms can be put into a flat stow position to reduce the space taken by the storage rack when not being used for storage of the T-tops. The storage rack may be secured to the vehicle to prevent movement during operation of the vehicle. A hook may be incorporated into the storage rack to secure a hatch or glove box lid in the open position.

摘要： A clamp to secure a tonneau cover to a frame of a cargo box includes a first clamp member coupled to the tonneau cover and has a first clamping surface. A second clamp member is coupled to the tonneau cover and has a second clamping surface. A ramp mechanism can include at least one ramp surface between the first and second clamp members shaped to cause lateral translation of the second clamping surface toward the first clamping surface in response to axial movement of the second clamp member toward the first clamp member as the clamp moves from an unclamped position to a clamped position. When in the clamped position, the first clamping surface of the first clamp member can be in opposed relationship to the second clamping surface to apply a clamping force therebetween, which can reinforce and prevent permanent deformation of the frame.

摘要： A tonneau cover assembly with a top cover connected to a cable tensioning system that eliminates the need for side rails to both locate and tension the top cover. The cable tension system seals out environmental elements and holds the tonneau cover and fabric management bows of the assembly in place. The assembly includes a front attachment assembly and rear attachment assembly connected to cables, where the front attachment provides a forward mounting location and seals a front bow to the vehicle. The rear attachment assembly holds the top cover in a closed tensioned state until the cover is opened by an operator. 摘要： A roof rack and soft top assembly for a vehicle having an exposed passenger compartment protected by a windshield and a roll cage. The assembly includes an outer frame mounted to the vehicle exterior to the roll cage and surrounding a rear passenger compartment, and a plurality of slide rails mounted to the top of the roll cage above a front passenger compartment. The assembly further includes a soft top suspended from the outer frame with fasteners and a header assembly attached to a forward portion of the soft top that slides along the slide rails to engage with the top edge of the windshield, thereby covering the front passenger compartment. When open air driving is desired, the soft top can be withdrawn or removed from the slide rails and the outer frame and stored in the vehicle.

摘要： A detachable-roof-equipped vehicle body structure includes a seal member provided in a roof opening section, and a soft top constructed to abut against the seal member. The seal member includes first and second seal units, and the soft top includes a flexible sheet for covering the roof opening section and a reinforcing member of higher rigidity than the sheet. The reinforcing member is abutted, from above, against both of the first and second seal units. The structure also includes a connecting bag part secured to the sheet, left and right side rails attached to the sheet, and a wire member inserted through the bag part and extending between the side rails. The wire member includes a small-diameter portion, and large-diameter portion each provided on a position spaced from a corresponding one of the side rails.

摘要： A zipper less removable window system having removable windows for use with a foldable, stowable roof for a vehicle. A plurality of attachment devices of the zipper less removable window system connect the windows to the foldable, stowable roof and to the vehicle without the use of zippers. The operator zipper effort caused by traditional windows is thereby eliminated and misalignment issues present with traditional zippered windows is eliminated or reduced. The stress placed on the portions of the windows connectable to the foldable roof during installation and removal, including around curved portions of the removable window, is eliminated or reduced.
