摘要: A ruggedized electrical receptacle that has a shell configured to receive an interface of a mating connector and a contact subassembly received in the shell. The contact subassembly includes a contact printed circuit board, interface contacts coupled to one face of the contact printed circuit board, termination contacts coupled to the other face thereof, and an overmold overmolded on the board. The overmold surrounds the contact printed circuit board such that free ends of the interface contacts are exposed and tail ends of the termination contacts are exposed. An internal sealing member is disposed between an outer surface of the overmold and the inner surface of the shell, thereby creating a seal therebetween.

摘要: A modular extendable outlet assembly comprises multiple selectively removably couplable outlet units. The units comprise an electrical housing with a first end, a second end opposing the first end, a visible front face having a first electrical socket, a rear face having a mount wall with holes, and a sidewall enclosing a unit cavity. An electrical plug retractably extends from the second end of housing. The electrical plug has an electrical prong configuration corresponding to a prong configuration of the second electrical socket to mate with an adjacent outlet unit. A spool assembly disposed within the unit cavity operates with a spring-loaded spool member. An electrical cord wraps around the spring-loaded spool member, terminating at the electrical plug. A cord release switch selectively translates the spring-loaded spool member to rotate and extend in length, the electrical cord. A unit activation switch electrically couples to the first electrical socket for powering.

摘要: The disclosure provides a connector assembly which includes a first connector module, a second connector module and a connection assistance module. The first connector module includes a first carrier and two first connectors which are fixed to the first carrier. The second connector module includes a second carrier and two second connectors which are fixed to the second carrier. The second connectors are respectively and detachably connected to the first connectors. The connection assistance module includes a rotatable component and an assembled component respectively disposed on the first carrier and the second carrier. The rotatable component has an inclined surface, and the assembled component has an engaging portion. When the rotatable component is rotated, the engaging portion is guided by the inclined surface so that the first carrier is moved toward or away from the second carrier, allowing the first connectors to be detachably connected to the second connectors.

摘要: An improved patch panel assembly includes a frame and faceplate that mate with a housing, and the housing defines a plurality of individual communication ports. The housing is mounted to the patch panel frame and includes jack openings that accommodate data jacks and circuit board openings that accommodate mating blades of circuit boards. The two sets of openings are separated on the housing by an intervening spacing and interposer terminal sets are provided to electrically interconnect the jacks with circuits on the circuit boards. The patch panel housings may be formed in discrete groupings so that, if desired, the patch panels may have ports that are grouped together by bandwidth, storage capability and the like. Inasmuch as the housings are mounted to the patch panel frames, the jacks and the circuit boards can be easily and individually replaced, repaired or upgraded with similar components without requiring disassembly of the patch panel.
