摘要： A nursing carriage for supporting a body of an infant or a disabled person, having a base frame with casters, the body frame erected on the base frame, and a top frame fixedly mounted on the body frame. The carriage has a pair of embracing arms swingably supported on the body frame. The embracing arms can be locked in their respective embracing positions and have holding members which are displaceable inwardly upon application of a weight on the embracing arms to embrace securely the body of a baby or disabled person under his or her arms. The carriage further includes a seat swingably mounted on the body frame and centrally has an opening to allow the baby or disabled person to make discharges in the sitting position.

摘要： A rigid, generally rectangular seat has front and rear leg assemblies pivotally connected thereto, so that the seat can be folded upwardly toward the rear leg assembly, and the front leg assembly can be folded beneath the seat. A pair of L-shaped arms is pivotally mounted on the rear leg assembly, one on each side, and the lower ends of the generally vertical portions of said arms are alignable with the front leg assembly when the chair is erect, and carry locking means thereon engageable with a locking means carried by the upper ends of the front legs. The L-shaped arms hold the chair in its erect position, but either can be released and swung aside to allow sideways movement of a person entering or leaving the seat.

摘要： An inflatable bed pan is substantially flat so as to be easily implaced under the buttocks of a bed-ridden patient, but is inflatable by a hand operated bulb to provide a semitoroidal shaped member for supporting such buttocks above the bed. A bottom member extends across the torus and forms a closed receptacle. The torus is interrupted to provide an exit passage, and a flap is associated with said exit passage for opening or closing the exit passage. Air inlet and air outlet means for inflating and deflating the device are also disclosed. The semitoroidal member is provided with a ring of foam rubber on its upper and inner sides.

摘要： An inconspicuous urine collection shield for fitting underneath and around the sides of an upholstered or cushioned seat of a chair. When the chair is occupied by a person who has lost normal bladder control, the urine can run down any or all four sides of the chair seat and collect in the portion of the shield which fits underneath the seat. Suitable fastening means are provided for removably securing the shield in place so that it can be partially removed for draining or completely removed for cleaning purposes. If desired the shield may be provided with a tubular attachment for connection to an indwelling catheter. A simple drain tube may be attached to the shield so that urine collected therein may be drained from time to time without releasing and lowering any portion of the shield.
