    摘要: A motor having a cooling structure includes a rotor fixed to a rotatable motor shaft, a rotor coil formed adjacent the rotor, a coil protection cover disposed adjacent the rotor coil, mounted in the motor shaft, and having a coolant chamber filled with a coolant. The motor further includes a stator fixed adjacent an exterior circumference of the rotor and may include a cover in which one end portion of the motor shaft is rotatably penetrated having a cooling pin at an internal side surface opposite one side surface of the coil protection cover. The coolant filled in the coolant chamber of the coil protection cover receives heat generated in the rotor coil, and, by effectively emitting the heat to the outside through the cooling pin formed in a rear cover, durability of the entire motor can be improved, and failure of peripheral parts can be prevented.

    摘要: A rotor for a generator comprises a stack of laminate plates and conductive end caps on either side thereof. The laminate plates and the end caps have holes near a periphery thereof, and conductive rods are positioned in the holes, and secured to the end caps. The stack, the end caps and the rods are then skewed by a desired angle with respect to a centerline of the rotor. The resulting rotor core may then be mounted to a rotor shaft, and wound, with the windings also being skewed due to skewing of the core. The end caps and rods form a damper cage that aids in reducing harmonics.

    摘要: A linear motor includes an assembly of two or more sets of magnets and pole pieces wherein the assembly is coaxially affixed inside of a housing, which results in an air gap therebetween. The magnets are positioned so that each magnet has opposite directions of magnetization relative to its adjacent magnet. The embodiment of the motor includes a coil carrier having a single electrical coil of two or more sections with each section wound in the opposite direction to the adjacent section and positioned into the corresponding winding areas of the carrier. The coil carrier is movably positioned into the air gap and further to surround the assembly, thereby moving along an axial direction of the motor when electricity is applied to the coil.

The crossover may include two attachment leads interconnected with a section of braided wire. The braided wire may remain free of brazing filler metal after the crossover subassembly is brazed into position between field coils of the generator. Consequently, the crossover may remain flexible and may have reduced susceptibility to fatigue failure that may otherwise result from circumferential relative displacement of the field coils from one another during changes of rotational speed of the field coils.
