摘要： Integrity of a flexible bag is verified by a testing system, using helium to detect existence of a possible hole. The bag is preliminary placed in vacuum chamber of a fluid-tightly isolated enclosure. After connecting a port of the bag to a helium feeding pipe and after pre-pressurizing the bag with nitrogen, a test is performed in a vacuum suction mode for a detection area outside the bag in the enclosure. Before starting the test phase, the bag is additionally filled with an amount of helium. A detection detects information representative of helium partial pressure in the internal volume, to allow detection of helium escaping from the bag, by analysis of a helium partial pressure drop. A small amount of nitrogen is sufficient to decrease leak rate mean value, so that uncertainty regarding integrity of some bags decreases.

摘要： A medical system for testing air leaks in tissue includes a housing unit, a tubular member, a source of negative pressure, a source of positive pressure, and a pressure gauge. The housing unit defines an interior chamber configured for receipt of at least a portion of an organ. The tubular member is coupled to the housing unit and includes a first end portion configured to be coupled to the portion of the organ. The source of negative pressure is configured to be in fluid communication with the interior chamber of the housing unit. The source of positive pressure is configured to be in fluid communication with the portion of the organ via attachment to a second end portion of the tubular member. The pressure gauge is in communication with the interior chamber of the housing unit and the tubular member to determine a pressure differential therebetween.

摘要： A method and system is disclosed for determining the integrity of a closed container. The method and system includes the steps of positioning the container in a surrounding, changing a gas pressure, a gas composition, a gas concentration, or any combination of gas pressure, gas concentration and gas composition, in the surrounding. Thereafter subjecting the container to an optical sensor, non-intrusively, the sensor being sensitive to at least one gas, and the sensor is configured for detecting the at least one gas inside the container. Reading a signal from the optical sensor related to a gas pressure, a gas concentration, a gas composition, or any combination of gas pressure, gas concentration, and gas composition, inside the container. The behaviour of the signal being indicative of breach in integrity of the container.
