摘要: A reusable bag is provided having a defined storage volume for receiving and transporting various items. The bag includes a front panel, a rear panel and two side panels. The panels of the bag are assembled to define the storage volume, having an open top end portion. A bottom wall is attached to the panels to close the bottom end portion of the bag and to define storage volume. The bottom wall is formed from at least two plies of material, with at least one ply of the bottom wall integrally formed with a panel, and the bottom wall having an extension portion wrapping around the bottom wall and secured to one of the panels. In addition, openings may be provided for supporting the bag on the arms of a typical bag support rack.

摘要: The invention provides an insert (1) for inserting internally into a carrier bag having side walls and a base, the insert comprising a container stand portion (3), adapted, in use, to abut with the side walls and base of the carrier bag so as to maintain a substantially fixed position relative to the carrier bag and having a base portion; and connected to said base portion, an upper container receiving portion (6) to receive and hold at least one container having a base, a top end and an intermediate body portion; and at least two opposing support members (7, 8), each support member connecting one of opposing sides of the base portion with respective opposing sides of the upper container receiving portion (6), the support members (7, 8) being arranged, in use, to hold the upper container receiving portion (6) spaced from, and above the base portion so that said container can be inserted into said upper container receiving portion (6) so that the at least one container cannot substantially move relative to the stand portion (3) and at least part of the at least one container extends above the stand portion. The insert may further comprise an item support stand portion (4) having an item support portion (18) on which an item can be carried and at least one leg portion, the item support stand (4) being arranged, in use, to stand upon the container stand portion (3), by extending past the at least part of the at least one container extending above the stand portion, the item support portion (18), being arranged to form a barrier between the item and the top of the at least one container so as to support the item when the bag is carried. The insert (1) may be used to carry one or more containers containing liquids and/or food items whereby the container is maintained in a substantially upright position relative to the bag and the food item or items are held separately from the container(s).

摘要: Systems for containing and manipulating fluids including systems and methods involving supported collapsible bags that may be used as reactors for performing chemical, biochemical and/or biological reactions contained therein are provided. Generally, a series of improvements and features for fluid containment systems such as gas delivery configurations, foam control systems and bag molding methods and articles for supported collapsible bag vessels and bioreactors are provided. For instance, in one aspect, fluids contained in a vessel can be sparged, e.g., such that a fluid is directed into a container of the vessel, and in some cases, the sparging can be controlled by rapidly activating or altering the degree of sparging as needed. Multiple spargers may be used in some cases. In another aspect, the vessel includes a seamless collapsible bag. In some cases, the collapsible bag may be injected, blown, or spin cast molded. In yet another aspect, the vessel includes a device which can reduce the foam produced or contained within the vessel. Sensors and/or controllers may optionally be used to monitor and/or control foaming.

摘要: A flexible container and method for making same are provided. The container comprises a base portion including a bottom, side walls, and an interior, the bottom defining a substantially flat planar surface when the container houses product and the container rests on its bottom, an upper panel portion, that is designed to be received within the interior of the base portion and includes side panels that define a closure member, the upper panel being so constructed and arranged to define a substantially flat surface when the closure member is closed and portions of the upper panel are folded over, the upper panel includes a portion that is sealed to the base portion, and a pair of handles may also be coupled to the base portion.

摘要: A reclosable packaging bag comprises a main bag body having an opening portion and at least one heat-sealed portion; and a linear fastener provided on the opening portion of the main bag body. The linear fastener is provided along the opening portion of the main bag body by an insert injection molding so as not to extend to the heat-sealed portions. A method for manufacturing the bag comprises the three steps. First, the first and second linear fastening members are formed on a prescribed position of a sheet of film material by an insert injection molding so as to be spaced from each other. These fastening members are engageable with each other to form a linear fastener. Second, the sheet of film material is folded in two so that the fastening members can engage with each other. Third, each of opposite portions of the sheet of film material thus folded is heat-sealed to form side heat-sealed portions.

摘要: A panel or container having a spring loop frame is coiled into overlapping loops and releasably restrained in that configuration for washing and/or drying. Encircling straps can be used, but preferably the collapsed frame or frames are placed in a bag selectively sized to restrain expansion, and the bag is releasably closed.
