Abstract:
To give a player who plays a certain game apparatus less frequently an increased opportunity that the player plays selectively with the game apparatus.Provided is a benefit-imparting condition deciding apparatus which, when a player corresponding to identification information received by an identification information receiving unit is decided to satisfy a predetermined benefit-imparting condition, outputs clear information in a state of being associated with the identification information on the player and also notifies the player of game apparatus designating information for designating a benefit-imparting game apparatus, and where the identification information is received after receipt of the clear information, a benefit-imparting process is performed for imparting the player a benefit according to the clear information associated with the same identification information as the received identification information. The benefit-imparting condition deciding apparatus changes one or two or more pieces of game apparatus designating information to be notified based on a predetermined change condition.
Abstract:
An information distribution system and an information distribution method in which a user can view content on a personal digital assistant without complicated operation, thereby obtaining detailed information from an information distributor efficiently without fail. An information distribution system comprises a personal digital assistant for viewing a distribution file delivered by an information distributor, a distribution file server for storing the distribution file to be delivered to the personal digital assistant, and a command mail server for storing as email a command to specify the personal digital assistant to which the distribution file is to be delivered. The command mail server sends the email to the personal digital assistant. The personal digital assistant determines whether or not the email is addressed thereto based on command information provided by the email. When the personal digital assistant has determined that the email is addressed thereto, it obtains a distribution file specified by the command information from the distribution file server, and outputs information from the distribution file to a display or a sound output device such as a speaker.
Abstract:
In a slot machine, when a player actuates a start lever, three reels spin, thereby effecting internal drawing operation and determining a winning combination. When the player actuates stop buttons, predetermined stop control operations are performed. A combination of symbols corresponding to the winning combination are achieved along anyone of winning lines. A plurality of image data sets which can be displayed on a liquid-crystal display (21) are recorded in an image data ROM (44) provided in a liquid-crystal display unit (20) of the slot machine. When the player actuates a changeover switch (23), switch setting information is sent to a CPU (41). An image display LSI (45) reads out from the image data ROM image data corresponding to the setting information, thereby using the thus-read image data for display contents of the liquid-crystal display.
Abstract:
A pictorial image comprising pixels represented by a combination of density values in respect to first color components (R, G, B) is transformed to a pictorial image comprising pixels represented by combination of density values in respect to second color components (C, M, Y). In accordance with the first color modification method, an operation expressed as Q=.alpha.P+.beta. is implemented to an original density value P using two correction coefficients .alpha. and .beta. determined in advance to determine a density value Q after transformation. In addition, in accordance with the second color modification method, density values after transformation are determined by the calculation of the k-th degree masking equation using the k-th degree masking coefficients. At this time, a color cube is defined with respect to the first color components. The color cube thus defined is devided into an n number of blocks. The k-th degree masking coefficients are defined every respective blocks. Then, calculation of the k-th degree masking equation is performed using the k-th degree masking coefficients defined with respect to blocks involving points indicative of original density values within the color cube.
Abstract:
A single lens reflex camera adjusted to a shutter preference exposure range in which responsive to the light sensor and preselected shutter speed, an Appex type computer derives an exposure value which is previously stored, and thereafter automatic adjustment of the diaphragm mechanism in accordance with the stored exposure value starts in substantial coincidence with the start of pivoting movement of the mirror from its viewing to non-viewing position which is followed by the operation of the shutter mechanism to thereby minimize the time interval between the time when the shutter button is depressed and the time at which the shutter is released from its cocked position.
Abstract:
A ball lottery apparatus include a discharger adapted for discharging individually multiple lottery balls, a lottery field including multiple holes in which the discharged lottery balls can enter, a host controller for executing various controls, a retrieval mechanism adapted for retrieving the lottery balls. When a bingo game is played, the host controller can set the ball lottery apparatus to a normal mode in which an input time point at which each of the lottery balls discharged from the discharger is input to the lottery field depends on a predetermined rule, and to a dealer mode in which the input time point depends on human action.
Abstract:
A reference strength (P) is set at a game device (10) as a received signal strength enabling stable communication in a range in which radio waves reach from a wireless relay device (20) (radio wave coverage range), and permits a game play at a portable terminal (30), for which the received signal strength reaches the set reference strength (P). Thus, it is possible to permit players in an area satisfying store manager's wishes to perform remote play under a stable communication environment, without being influenced by a decrease in an effective communication speed.
Abstract:
A game system includes a management apparatus and a game device. The management apparatus includes an authentication section for obtaining results of authentications using first and second identifiers that should correspond to a user. When the results of the authentications are affirmative, a validity time limit is associated with the first identifier. In addition, the game device includes a confirmatory identifier acquirer for acquiring a confirmatory identifier that should correspond to the user, and an inquiry maker for making an inquiry asking the management apparatus to check whether or not the first identifier conforming to the confirmatory identifier is stored in the management apparatus. The inquiry inquires the management apparatus to check whether or not the validity time limit corresponding to the first identifier is a time after the present time when the first identifier conforming to the confirmatory identifier is stored in the management apparatus. A permitter of the management apparatus permits execution of a service associated with the first identifier used in the inquiry when results of checks by the manager in response to the inquiry are affirmative.
Abstract:
A game system has plural game devices and a storage device that stores attribute information and location information of a pet in association with a player ID. Each game device obtains a player ID of a player who plays at the game device, and obtains attribute information corresponding to location information identifying a game device identified by the obtained player ID, and controls a game to cause the game device to display a pet according to the obtained attribute information. In a case in which location information stored in association with a player ID of a first player who plays at a first game device is changed to that which identifies a second game device identified by a player ID of a second player, the first game device does not display a pet of the first player, but the second game device displays the pet of the first player.
Abstract:
Where a drawing machine for jackpot game is utilized in a game system in which a plurality of game apparatuses are divided into a plurality of groups for management, a payout ratio is easily managed for each group. The drawing machine for jackpot game performs a group drawing for selecting one winning group among a plurality of groups and performs a winner determining process for determining a winner among players who play game apparatuses belonging to the winning group, thereby performing a jackpot drawing. Then, the drawing machine for jackpot game performs the group drawing in a manner that, among the plurality of groups, a particular group in which a total amount of an own group-specific jackpot balance amount obtained by deducting from a group-specific accumulated pool amount obtained by summing up for each group pool amounts of game apparatuses belonging to each group from a predetermined point in time a total amount from the predetermined point in time covering amounts of payout object paid out when a player who played a game apparatus belonging to the group concerned wins a jackpot award and an own group-specific maximum loss amount set for each group is equal to or more than a jackpot retention amount is not determined as a winning group.
