Abstract: Provided herein are a method performed when deactivating a packet duplication and returning to a split bearer operation and an apparatus therefor. The method comprises receiving a radio resource control (RRC) message including information related to a secondary radio link control (RLC) entity for returning to the split bearer operation among more than two RLC entities associated with a packet data convergence protocol (PDCP) entity, wherein the secondary RLC entity belongs to a cell group different from a cell group of a primary RLC entity, and performing the split bearer operation using the primary RLC entity and the secondary RLC entity in case that the packet duplication is deactivated.

The operation method of the first UE includes: transmitting, to a second UE, UE sidelink capability information including out-of-order delivery capability information of a packet data convergence protocol (PDCP) layer of the first UE; and receiving, from the second UE, out-of-order delivery configuration information configured for a sidelink radio bearer, based on the out-of-order delivery capability information of the PDCP layer of the first UE. Also, the operation method of the first UE further includes processing sidelink data received from the second UE, based on the out-of-order delivery configuration information.
