Abstract: A user equipment (UE) receives, from a base station, a network power mode configuration and receive control signaling indicating for the UE to switch to the network power mode configuration. The UE communicates with the base station based on the network power mode configuration in response to the control signaling. A base station transmits, to a UE, a network power mode configuration, and transmits control signaling indicating for the UE to switch to the network power mode configuration. The base station communicates with the UE based on the network power mode configuration in response to the control signaling.

Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described. Feedback information associated with decoding downlink information may be reported in a first stage and a second stage. A size of the second stage may be restricted by an upper limit associated with an available set of uplink resources for transmitting the feedback information. Limiting the size of the second stage may include reducing a size of second information generated for the second stage, yielding third information for the second stage. The third information may be transmitted with first information generated for the first stage. Limiting the size of the second stage may also include generating second information having a reduced size based on determining that the upper limit may be exceeded. The reduced-size second information may be transmitted with the first information.

Abstract: Data aware precoding techniques are disclosed. A transmitter may apply a precoder function to payload data to obtain a precoded data transmission. The precoder function may include a first portion, e.g., based on a channel measurement, and a second portion, e.g., based on data for transmission. The transmitter may transmit the precoded data transmission. A receiver may receive a precoded data transmission that is precoded based on a channel measurement and based on data comprised in the data transmission. The receiver may decode the precoded data transmission based on the channel measurement and the data comprised in the data transmission.

Abstract: A scheduling entity can configure semi-persistent scheduling (SPS) resources for downlink data and selectively receiving channel measurements and interference measurements from a user equipment. The scheduling entity can trigger the channel measurements and interference measurements using various methods including SPS configuration activation/reactivation/deactivation, DMRS based triggering, and DCI based triggering. The scheduling entity can benefit from more frequent and/or aperiodic interference and/or channel measurements in performing channel precoding, selecting a modulation and coding scheme (MCS), and estimating/predicting interference, noise, and channel quality at the UE. SPS configured channel and interference measurements also benefit the UE in data decoding that can result in a lower error ratio and higher data rate.

Abstract: A user equipment (UE) determines an occurrence of a triggering event for providing negative acknowledgment (NACK) based feedback for a semi-persistent scheduling (SPS) transmission. The apparatus monitors for the SPS transmission. The apparatus transmits a NACK if the SPS transmission is not successfully received and refrains from sending an ACK if the SPS transmission is successfully received based on the occurrence of the triggering event for providing NACK based feedback. The base station determines an occurrence of a triggering event for a UE to provide NACK based feedback for an SPS transmission. The apparatus transmits the SPS transmission and determines that the UE successfully received the SPS transmission based on an absence of a NACK from the UE for the SPS transmission.

Abstract: Certain aspects of the present disclosure provide techniques for configuring data transmission. Aspects relate to determining a data transmission configuration utilizing a machine-learning based algorithm, such as a data transmission configuration for ultra-reliable low-latency communication (URLLC) applications. A method that may be performed by a base station (BS) includes receiving a feedback report from a user equipment (UE) including an indication of a first state corresponding to a plurality of channel condition parameters and determining one or more actions based, at least in part, on the first state. The BS may determining the one or more actions utilizing a machine learning algorithm that uses a second state, where the second state is based, at least in part, on the first state.
