Abstract: Embodiments of the present disclosure relate to devices, methods, apparatuses and computer readable storage media of relaxation compensation for improved system performance. The method comprises determining one or more parameters for compensating a delay associated with at least one evaluation of a measurement, the measurement comprising at least one of a RLM or a BFD, and in accordance with a determination that the first device is to be switched from a relaxed measurement mode to a non-relaxed measurement mode, performing the measurement compensation in the non-relaxed measurement mode based on the one or more parameters. In this way, the negative system impact from the relaxed UE RLM/BFD measurements can be removed and meanwhile the power saving of the UE can also be achieved.

Abstract: According to embodiments of the present disclosure, after a terminal device receives an activation indication from a network device to activate a secondary cell configured with physical uplink control channel or a primary secondary cell, the terminal device transmits an acknowledgment in response to the activation indication to the network device.
