摘要: The method of the invention includes determining a circular arc (CAR) passing through three discretely given consecutive points (P.sub.i-1, P.sub.i, P.sub.i+1), determining a tangent vector of a tangent line contacting the circular arc (CAR) at the central point (P.sub.i) of these three points, thereafter performing a spline interpolation between the two points P.sub.i-1, P.sub.i using position vectors and tangent vectors at the points (P.sub.i-1, P.sub.i), thereby obtaining a curve smoothly connecting the two points P.sub.i-1, P.sub.i, and thereafter determining a point sequence connecting curve (CVL) by similarly performing an interpolation between every two adjacent consecutive points.

摘要: The invention relates to a complex curved surface creation method for generating a curved surface in which roundness (ARC) of a radius R is provided at a portion where a first curve (11) approximated by straight lines on a first three-dimensional curved surface (1) intersects a second curve (12) approximated by straight lines on a second three-dimensional curved surface (2). Among line segments (P.sub.i P.sub.i-1) constituting the first curve (11) and line segments (P.sub.j P.sub.j+1) constituting the second curve (12), one line segment is selected from each curve in the order of their nearness to a point of intersection (P.sub.0) of the two curves. Next, it is determined whether a circular arc of radius R to which both of the line segments (P.sub.i P.sub.i-1, P.sub.j P.sub.j+1) are tangent exists. If such a circular arc does exist, the circular arc is inserted at the portion where the two curves intersect, thereby rounding the intersection. If such a circular arc does not exist, the next nearest line segments to the point of intersection (P.sub.0) are selected, similar processing is repeated and a circular arc is inserted at the portion where the two curves intersect, thereby rounding the intersection.

摘要: A method of creating NC data for a complex curved surface (10) which has a combination of at least two three-dimensional curved surfaces (11, 12). The NC data creation method includes inputting data specifying each of the curved surfaces (11, 12) and data for specifying cutting path patterns (a pattern 21 of radiating straight lines and a pattern 22 of parallel straight lines) for respective ones of the curved surfaces. Points are obtained discretely from a cutting starting point (P.sub.i) of one curved surface (11) to a boundary point (R.sub.i) with the other curved surface (12) along the radiating-type cutting path pattern (21) set for this curved surface. Points are also obtained discretely on the other curved surface along the cutting path pattern (22) of parallel straight lines specified with respect to the other curved surface (12). A pick-feed is performed points are obtained discretely along the cutting path pattern on each of the curved surfaces in similar fashion. NC data for generating a complex curved surface by successively traversing each of the points, is created.

The method includes entering coordinate values of points on the drawing by designating the points, and entering information for specifying the part program data to be created. The part program data is created using said information and the coordinates of the points. The part program data can be created simply in a short period of time without requiring special skills.

摘要: A numerical control machining method and apparatus wherein a workpiece (101) is machined on the basis of curved surface data defining a curved surface. In the numerical control machining method and apparatus, a first boundary surface (103) serving as an upper limit and a second boundary surface (104) serving as a lower limit are respectively entered as inputs. A determination is made whether a tool lies in an upper part with respect to the first boundary surface (103), between the first and second boundary surfaces, or in a lower part with respect to the second boundary surface (104), and only the curved surface (CA.sub.1) enclosed by the first boundary surface (103) and the second boundary surface (104) is machined on the basis of the curved surface data. Then first and second boundary surfaces (103, 104) are moved downwards by predetermined values and the tool is moved by rapid traverse to a position (P.sub.12) corresponding to the first boundary surface (103'). After the completion of the machining of the curved surface (CA.sub.1) enclosed by the first and second boundary surfaces the next cutting operation is started from the position (P.sub.12).

摘要: A numerical control method for controlling a numerical control device and prereading the numerical control data in a succeeding block during the execution of numerical control in accordance with the current block. A plurality of line segments, each specified by a block of numerical control data, approximate a curve. When the length of a line segment is less than a prescribed length (defined by required machining precision), control of movement of a member such as a tool based on the data specifying said line segment is skipped. This eliminates intermittent tool movement, improves machining precision, and prevents damage to the machine tool.

摘要: A program for operating a numerical control machine tool written in problem oriented language is translated into machine oriented language through the use of the present NC tape producing system. The present system has a mini-computer mounted in a desk type cabinet, which has also a printer, an input tape reader, an output tape puncher, a key board, and a mini-board panel, each connected to said mini-computer. The mini-board panel is covered with the mini-board sheet indicating the roles of keys under the mini-board sheet. The system is automatically initialized just by turning on a power switch, or pushing a load key, and the program for operating the mini-computer itself is automatically loaded in the memory of the mini-computer through said input tape reader. Thus, the operation of the system is very easy. A problem oriented source program is applied to the system through the input tape reader, translated by the mini-computer to a machine language program, which is in turn obtained from said output tape puncher.
