Abstract:
Provided in one disclosure of the present specification is a method for transmitting a detection signal from user equipment (UE). The method comprises the steps of: driving a mobility management (MM) delay time timer, when the MM delay time timer is received by the UE from a mobility management entity (MME) in a network; confirming the priority for detecting at least one other UE, when detection of the at least one other UE is required before the MM delay time timer expires; and randomly selecting a resource based on a shared resource pool included in system information, which is broadcasted from a base station, and then transmitting to the at least one other UE a detection signal including a proximity service code from the randomly selected resource, when the detection of the at least one other UE is considered to have high priority or to be urgent.
Abstract:
The present invention relates to a method for processing paging from a server managing mobility within a mobile communication network. The method comprises the steps of: the mobility management server receiving a tracking area update (TAU) request from user equipment; the mobility management server obtaining context of the user equipment from a previous mobility management server for the user equipment; the mobility management server determining whether paging was being performed from the previous mobility management server by downlink data to be relayed to the user equipment, based on the context that is obtained; and relaying a paging signal to one or more base stations for the user equipment when the paging with respect to the user equipment is determined as being performed.
Abstract:
In one embodiment of the present invention, a method for enabling a UDM (Unified Data Management) to perform a registration related procedure of an AMF (Access and Mobility Management Function) in a wireless communication system comprises the steps of: receiving, by the UDM, a message related to serving AMF registration of a UE, which includes access type information and ID (Identity) information, from a first AMF; transmitting, by the UDM, a deregistration related message to a second AMF when the second AMF exists, wherein the second AMF is registered as a serving AMF of the UE and related to the access type information.
Abstract:
A disclosure in the present specification provides a method for user equipment initiating a service request procedure. The method includes a step of the UE receiving a paging message. The UE may be registered to both of a 3rd generation partnership project (3GPP) access and a non-3GPP access within the same PLMN. The paging message may include access type information that is used so as to indicate the non-3GPP access. The method may include a step of initiating a UE triggered service request procedure. The UE triggered service request procedure may be initiated by transmitting a service request message including a list of permitted protocol data unit (PDU) sessions. The service request message may include an empty list of the permitted PDU sessions if there is no PDU sessions that can be reactivated in the 3GPP access.
Abstract:
The one disclosure of the present specification proposes a method for managing session. The method may be performed by a session management function, SMF, node and comprise: generating a packet data unit, PDU, session for a user equipment, UE; receiving, from an access and mobility management function, AMF, node, information about the UE; and determining, based on the information, whether to transmit an indication for notifying a user plane function, UPF, node to discard a downlink data for the PDU session of the UE. The determination may be dependent on whether the PDU session corresponds to a first service provided to the UE.
Abstract:
One disclosure of the present specification provides a method in which a user equipment (UE) performs an attach request procedure. The method comprises a step of transmitting an attach request message to a second system when an intersystem change from a first system to the second system is required in a state where a back-off timer associated with a data network name (DNN) based congestion control is running. The attach request message may include information on a packet data unit (PDU) session used by the UE in the first system. The information on the PDU session may be used so as not for the attach request message to be rejected by a second network, even if the back-off timer associated with the DNN-based congestion control is running.
Abstract:
A user equipment according to the present invention performs a handover from a first system to a second system. When a user equipment receives a command to hand over to the second system, while using a plurality of protocol data unit (PDU) sessions for the same data network (DN) in the first system, the user equipment transmits first session information of a first PDU session among the plurality of PDU sessions, establishes a packet data network (PDN) connection with the second system, on the basis of the first session information, and maps the first PDU session to the PDN connection. When the user equipment is required to establish a dedicated bearer for a PDU session (second PDU session) other than the first PDU session among the plurality of PDU sessions, the user equipment transmits a bearer generation request message requesting to generate a dedicated bearer for the PDN connection.
Abstract:
Provided in one disclosure of the present specification is a method by which a session management function (SMF) node manages a session. The method can comprise the steps of: transmitting, to an access and mobility management function (AMF) node, a registration request for notifying of state information of user equipment (UE) capable of accessing a local area data network (LADN) through any one of a first access network and a second access network; receiving, from the AMF node, changed state information when the state information of the UE is changed; and determining whether to release or deactivate a PDU session of the UE on the basis of the received information.
Abstract:
Disclosed in the present specification is a method by which a user equipment (UE) performs access control. The method comprises the steps of: allowing a non-access-stratum (NAS) layer of the UE to transfer information on an important service and a NAS signaling request to a radio resource control (RRC) layer, when the important service is required even if access to a cell is currently interrupted or a back-off timer is operated; and allowing the RRC layer to skip or override an inspection for access control on the basis of the information on the important service, wherein, the information on the important service can be set in advance.
Abstract:
A method for selecting a serving AMF of a network node in a wireless communication system includes receiving a registration request message of a user equipment (UE), the registration request message including a network slice selection assistance information (NSSAI) for a slice requested by the UE and priority information of the NSSAI; determining whether the NSSAI is valid for the UE; when the NSSAI is valid for the UE, searching a first AMF which is able to support the NSSAI based on the priority information; and when the first AMF is searched, selecting the first AMF as the serving AMF serving the UE and transmitting the registration request message to the first AMF.
