    Abstract: A system and method for responding to changes in social traffic in a geographic area receives, via an electronic communications interface, information describing a geographic area and one or more attributes of people expected to be in the geographic area. A geofence is defined based on the information describing the geographic area, and a cohort of people expected to be in the geofence is defined based on the one or more attributes. Information from a sensor regarding an attribute of a person at a geographic location is received via an electronic communications network. Based on the attribute, a determination is made whether or not the person is a member of the cohort of people expected to be in the geofence. An alert may be triggered based at least in part on whether or not the person is a member of the cohort of people expected to be in the geofence.

    Abstract: A method for managing conversations in social media and networks may include selecting, by a processor, a message posted to a social medium for management and associating a goal with the selected message for management.     Abstract: A method, system and computer program product for utilizing a caller wait time. When the caller's estimated wait time exceeds a threshold amount of time, an interactive voice response (IVR) system retrieves information (e.g., caller's previous purchases) about the caller. The IVR system then initiates a dialog with the caller to determine their experience with a product or service by prompting the caller with questions derived from the retrieved information. After recording the responses by the caller to the questions, the IVR system generates social media content based on the caller's responses. The IVR system then converts the text of the generated social media content to an audible version, which is provided to the caller to approve the posting of the social media content. The social media content is posted on a social media stream in response to the caller approving the posting of the social media content.

    Abstract: A question relating to an individual is received and context from the question is extracted. Subject matter criteria can be identified from the context of the question. A database containing history data that includes recorded positional data for physical objects relative to the location of the individual at the time of recording can be accessed and relevant physical objects from the history data can be identified based upon the subject matter criteria. A set of answers can be generated for the question from a corpus of data and ranked based upon the identified physical objects and physical distance between the individual and the relevant physical objects.
