Abstract: Embodiments of this application provide example media packet transmission methods, apparatuses, and systems, and relate to the field of communication technologies. One example method includes receiving, by a user plane network element, a media packet from an application server. The user plane network element determines association information corresponding to the media packet, where the association information is information associated with a client operation corresponding to the media packet. The user plane network element then sends the media packet to an access network element via a quality of service (QoS) flow corresponding to the association information.

Abstract: Example network-based adaptive streaming media parameter adjustment methods and apparatuses are disclosed. One example method includes receiving, by an access network device, media QoS information from a session management network element, where the media QoS information includes at least two bit rate indicators and QoS requirement information corresponding to each of the bit rate indicators. The access network device determines, based on a current network condition and the media QoS information, a target bit rate indicator from the at least two bit rate indicators. The target bit rate indicator is sent to a terminal or a video server, where the current network condition meets a network requirement for transmitting streaming media data at a bit rate indicated by the target bit rate indicator.

A control plane network element establishes, for UE, a first DN connection that uses a first forwarding plane network element as an anchor. The method includes: when the control plane network element receives a handover notification message for the UE and determines that a second forwarding plane network element serves the UE, or when the control plane network element establishes, for the UE, a second DN connection that uses a second forwarding plane network element as an anchor, the control plane network element updates a forwarding path of the first DN connection, so that an updated forwarding path of the first DN connection passes through the second forwarding plane network element, and the second forwarding plane network element performs policy control on a packet on the first DN connection.

The target user plane network element receives first indication information, used to indicate that sending of the first uplink service packet by the source user plane network element ends, from the source user plane network element. The target user plane network element sends, to a target AS after the first uplink service packet is sent, an uplink service packet that is from an access network device to the target user plane network element.

Abstract: This application discloses a path processing method, an apparatus, and a related computer-readable storage medium. In the method, whether there is an existing communication connection for a service flow is determined, and a service feature indicator corresponding to the existing communication connection satisfies a service feature condition required by the service flow. In a case of determining that there is the existing communication connection, a service packet is sent in the existing communication connection. In a case of determining that there is no existing communication connection, a new communication connection is established for the service flow, and a service packet is sent in the new communication connection, and a service feature indicator corresponding to the new communication connection satisfies the service feature condition required by the service flow.
