    摘要: A stator includes a stator core and a stator coil comprised of a plurality of electric wires. Each of the electric wires has, at least, first, second, and third in-slot portions and first and second turn portions. The first to third in-slot portions are respectively received in three different slots of the stator core. The first turn portion is located on one axial side of the stator core outside of the slots to connect the first and second in-slot portions. The second turn portion is located on the other axial side of the stator core outside of the slots to connect the second and third in-slot portions. For each of the electric wires, the radial distances of the first to third in-slot portions from the axis of the stator core successively decrease. All of the electric wires are offset from one another in the circumferential direction of the stator core.

Each of the first and second crank-shaped portions is provided, in one of the electric wires, at the center of an apex part of one of the turn portions and is radially bent to shift the radial position of the electric wire. The amount of radial position shift made by each of the second crank-shaped portions is less than that made by each of the first crank-shaped portions. The second crank-shaped portions are located at a plurality of places in the circumferential direction of the stator core.

    摘要: A stator for an electric rotating machine includes a hollow cylindrical stator core having a plurality of slots and a stator coil formed by joining a plurality of electric wires mounted on the stator core. For each joined pair of the electric wires, one of the electric wires has an end portion led out from the radially inner periphery of one of the slots of the stator core while the other electric wire has an end portion led out from the radially outer periphery of another one of the slots of the stator core; the end portions are welded together to form a weld therebetween. Part of the welds formed between the end portions of the joined pairs of the electric wires are located on the radially inner periphery of the stator coil while the remaining welds are located on the radially outer periphery of the stator coil.

    摘要: An alternator for a vehicle has a rotor with a field wiring, a stator with a three-phase stator wiring, a regulator, and a rectifier. The regulator and rectifier are disposed away from each other with the rotor between. An alternating current is generated in the stator wiring in response to a rotation of the rotor and a field current received in the field wiring. The rectifier converts the alternating current into a direct current and outputs the direct current as an electrical energy generated in the alternator. The regulator regulates a value of the filed current to control the electrical energy. The rectifier acts as a heat generating member, but heat generated in the rectifier is hardly transmitted to the regulator disposed away from the rectifier.

    摘要: According to the present invention, a rolling bearing for supporting a rotary shaft of an automotive accessory includes an inner ring, an outer ring, a plurality of rolling elements interposed between the inner and outer rings, and grease. The grease has a withstand pressure greater than a predetermined range in which plastic deformation of at least one of surfaces of the inner and outer rings and rolling elements occurs in absence of an elastohydrodynamic lubrication film of the grease on the surface. With such a configuration, it is possible to reliably avoid plastic deformation of the inner and outer rings and rolling elements regardless of presence of elastohydrodynamic lubrication films between the inner and outer rings and the rolling elements. As a result, brittle flaking is reliably prevented from occurring in the rolling bearing.

    摘要: There is provided a method and apparatus for designing a rolling bearing provided with components including rolling elements, an outer ring, and an inner ring which come into contact with each other. First, it is determined whether or not adiabatic shear bands have a potential for occurrence within at least one of the components, due to the fact that stress is applied to the components, thus causing high deformation rates in the at least one of the components to cause an unstable plastic phenomenon that brings about an adiabatic shear deformation state within the at least one of the components. Then an estimation is made such that brittle flaking resulting from the adiabatic shear bands have a potential for occurrence within the at least one of the components, when it is determined that the adiabatic shear bands have a potential for occurrence.
