    Abstract: A camera module is provided with: an imaging element which is formed in a rectangular shape and has a plurality of pads provided to a back surface opposite from an imaging surface; a substrate where, on the same plane, a plurality of linear conductors are lined up in parallel and have an insulating coating in a rectangular shape such that the side of one end and the other end in the direction of extension of the conductors is shorter than one side of the imaging element, the conductors at the one end and the other end being exposed at a plate surface front and/or back; and a low-melting-point electroconductive material for connecting, to each of the pads, the conductors of the one end that are exposed due to one end surface of the substrate being abutted against the back surface.

    Abstract: A wearable camera includes an image capture device, a processor, and first and second memories. The image capture device images a subject. The first memory at least temporarily stores first communication setting information for communication with an in-vehicle communication device. The second memory stores a program that, when executed by the processor, causes the wearable camera to: perform a communication setting process that establishes a communication connection between the wearable camera and the in-vehicle communication device, delete the first communication setting information from the first memory after a lapse of a certain time from a timer reset, the timer reset occurring in response to establishment of the communication connection between the wearable camera and the in-vehicle communication device, and notify that the first communication setting information is not stored in the first memory, in response to determining that the first communication setting information is not stored in the first memory.

    Abstract: An objective is to achieve an endoscope in which a distal part of an insertion unit has a reduced diameter, yet the endoscope has good pushability so that buckling at the distal part can be avoided. This endoscope is provided with: an imaging unit having a lens and an imaging element; a resin tube which extends from the imaging unit to the proximal side opposite the distal side, and through which a cable conductively connected to the imaging element is inserted; and an elastic wire which has a distal end disposed outwardly of the imaging element, is inserted in and extends through the resin tube, and has flexibility and bending stiffness.

    Abstract: A face detection system includes a terminal device and a server communicably connected to the terminal device. The terminal device acquires a recorded video data file selected by user operation and transmits it to the server. The server converts the received recorded video data file into recorded video data having a predetermined format, detects a face of one or more persons based on the converted recorded video data, generates one or more face-cut images by cutting out a region of the detected face, associates information of an image capturing time point at which a person corresponding to the face cut-out image is captured with the face cut-out image, and transmits the associated information to the terminal device. The terminal device displays a thumbnail image of the received face cut-out image and information of the image capturing time point side by side in a time series on a monitor.

    Abstract: A terminal apparatus transmits, to a server, setting information including specification information of a camera based on input manipulation of the user, environment information indicating an environment in which the camera is installed, and a map image of a place where the camera is installed. The server calculates a capturing area of the camera in the map image, places a subject model that serves as a capturing target of the camera at a prescribed position in the capturing area and generates a synthesized image, generates a face image and a whole body image of the subject model located at the prescribed position that is inferred to be captured by the camera, transmits the synthesized image and the face image and the whole body image of the subject model to the terminal apparatus. The terminal apparatus displays the synthesized image, the face image and the whole body image of the subject model.
