Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described. Some wireless communications systems may support user equipment (UE) indication of preferred timing adjustment. In some case, a first UE may receive, from a network entity, a downlink message. Additionally, the first UE may receive a first level of interference at the first UE, where the first level of interference is based on an uplink message transmitted from a second UE and at least partially overlaps in time with the downlink message. In some cases, the first UE may transmit, to the network entity, assistance information associated with a timing adjustment based on the first level of interference, where the timing adjustment is associated with one or more uplink messages to be transmitted from the second UE.

Abstract: Apparatus, methods, and computer program products for backscatter communication (BC) are included. An example method may include transmitting an indication of a backscattering radio (BR) capability to a network entity. The example method may also include receiving a first message from the network entity, the first message indicating that the UE is to remain on a main radio (MR) state or transition to a BR state.

Abstract: Aspects of the present disclosure provide mechanisms for facilitating cross-link interference (CLI) measurement and reporting for mobile network entities using a common window configuration for communication of reference signals. The common window configuration may indicate a plurality of occasions within a respective window of each of one or more cycles for communicating one or more reference signals. A network entity (e.g., a mobile network entity or a stationary network entity) may utilize the common window configuration to receive a reference signal from another network entity within an occasion of the plurality of occasions in order to obtain a CLI measurement indicating the CLI between the network entities.

Abstract: Systems and methods for wireless communication with devices equipped with multiple antenna panels are provided. A UE may transmit UE assistance information (UAI) to a wireless communication device associated with other network information such as rank indicator (RI). The UAI may include an indication of a quantity of antenna panels in use, a relative power consumption indicator, and/or a thermal overhead indicator. This information may be used by the wireless communication device to determine a network configuration which reduces the power consumption and/or thermal overhead of the UE.

Abstract: Various aspects of the present disclosure generally relate to wireless communication. In some aspects, a user equipment (UE) may transmit, to a network entity, an indication of whether the UE is capable of performing a perception-assisted beam management procedure. The UE may receive, from the network entity, a configuration indicating whether the UE should perform the perception-assisted beam management procedure based at least in part on the indication of whether the UE is capable of performing the perception-assisted beam management procedure. Numerous other aspects are described.

Abstract: In an aspect, a first network entity may perform a forwarding timing advance procedure. To perform the forwarding timing advance procedure, the first network entity may determine a first time for receiving a transmission from a second network entity based on forwarding timing advance information, where the forwarding timing advance information is based on an internal delay of the first network entity, and where a target of the transmission is a third network entity. The first network entity may receive the transmission from the second network entity at the first time. The first network entity may forward the transmission to the third network entity at a second time.

Abstract: Method and apparatus for two-way beamforming operations for calibration. The apparatus receives a first set of reference signals from a network node using N sets of beam weights over N symbols. The apparatus estimates a complex-valued beamformed channel based on the first set of reference signals. The apparatus transmits a second set of reference signals to the network entity using the N sets of beam weights. The apparatus receives a set of feedback signals from the network entity comprising measurements of the transmitted second set of reference signals. The apparatus computes a set of calibration adjustment factors between transmit and receive parts of a set of beam weights based on the set of feedback signals and the estimated complex-valued beamformed channel. The apparatus performs a calibration adjustment operation based on the computed set of calibrated adjustment factors.
