Abstract: Wireless communications systems and methods related to a downlink search space with or without PDCCH monitoring aggregation in a wireless communication network are provided. A UE receives a monitoring configuration from a BS including a repetition of DCI over a plurality of PDCCH monitoring occasions of a search space. The monitoring configuration indicates one or more forms of diversity between PDCCH monitoring occasions. Diversity may be achieved, for example, by a CORESET frequency allocation difference, a PDCCH monitoring occasion frequency resource allocation difference, and/or different hashing functions for the CCE index of PDCCH monitoring occasions within a CORESET. Additional diversity is possible by using different beams and other methods. When activated either explicitly or implicitly, UE monitors for PDCCH transmissions from the first device utilizing the configured PDCCH monitoring aggregation.

Abstract: Various aspects of the present disclosure generally relate to wireless communication. In some aspects, a user equipment may receive a configuration of a resource pool for configured grant uplink communications, wherein the resource pool is associated with an admission probability parameter that controls an admission probability for access to the resource pool; receive an indication that modifies the admission probability; and perform an admission control procedure to attempt access to the resource pool for transmission of a configured grant uplink communication based at least in part on the indication, wherein the admission control procedure is associated with the modified admission probability. Numerous other aspects are provided.

Abstract: Disclosed are techniques for environment sensing. In an aspect, a first network node measures one or more first reference signals on a first carrier frequency, the one or more first reference signals received from a second network node to enable determination of one or more first characteristics associated with one or more target objects, and measures one or more second reference signals on a second carrier frequency, the one or more second reference signals received from the second network node to enable determination of one or more second characteristics associated with the one or more target objects, wherein an accuracy of the one or more second characteristics is higher than an accuracy of the one or more first characteristics based on the one or more first reference signals being measured on the first carrier frequency and the one or more second reference signals being measured on the second carrier frequency.

Abstract: Example implementations include a method, apparatus and computer-readable medium of wireless communication, including receiving a configuration of one or more downlink control information (DCI) formats to include a single bit for a redundancy version field. The implementations further include receiving a radio resource control (RRC) message indicating selectable redundancy versions. Additionally, the implementations further include detecting a DCI based on the one or more DCI formats including the single bit for the redundancy version field, the DCI scheduling a transmission. Additionally, the implementations further include selecting a redundancy version from the selectable redundancy versions based on the single bit. Additionally, the implementations further include encoding or decoding the transmission based on the redundancy version.

Abstract: Aspects relate to the extension of cross-slot scheduling for power efficient paging between different New Radio (NR) operating platforms or environments. In some examples, the same paging downlink control information (DCI) may be shared between existing NR user equipment (UE) and new NR UE in different time slots, where a single paging DCI schedules multiple paging messages for each operating environment. In some examples, the same paging physical downlink control channel (PDCCH) occasion may be shared in existing NR and new NR operating environments for scheduling paging messages in different time slots, but different DCIs are used for scheduling the paging messages. In some examples, the same physical downlink shared channel (PDSCH) paging message may be shared in different slots between existing NR and new NR operating environments.

TRANSIENT COMPACT MEASUREMENT REPORTS VIA ALTERNATIVE BEAM INDEXING

Abstract: A RAN node can indicate to a UE that a compact measurement report is to be used for beam measurements in a measurement report. A compact measurement report uses beam index numbers to indicate a position in a reference set. The reference set has a listing of resource indicators for beam measurements. As such, a reported beam measurement associated with a beam index number is also associated with the resource indicator positioned in the reference set indicated by the beam index number. The beam index numbers can be transmitted using fewer bits than are used for a resource indicator. The payload for a measurement report such as a L-SINR or L-RSP L1 measurement report is thereby reduced when the measurement report is transmitted as a compact measurement report.
