    Abstract: Certain aspects of the present disclosure provide techniques for indicating and determining whether one or more of multiple uplink transmissions scheduled by a common downlink control information (DCI) are based on a channel occupancy time (COT) initiated by the UE, a COT initiated by the network entity, or a combination of COTs initiated by the UE and network entity. The determination may be based on a direct indication in the DCI for one or more of the multiple uplink transmissions. The determination may also be based on determining the type of COT for the remaining uplink transmissions not directly indicated by the DCI. For example, the DCI may indicate a COT type for only a first one of the multiple uplink transmissions and the UE determines a COT type for the remaining uplink transmissions based on various conditions and criteria.

    Abstract: Various aspects of the present disclosure generally relate to wireless communication. In some aspects, a user equipment (UE) may communicate with multiple transmit receive points (TRPs) in a frame based equipment mode. A wireless node (e.g., the UE and/or one or more of the multiple TRPs) may determine, among the UE and the multiple TRPs, an initiating node that acquired a current channel occupancy time. The wireless node may determine a transmission pattern that includes one or more idle periods based at least in part on a fixed frame period structure associated with the initiating node that acquired the current channel occupancy time.     Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described. A first wireless device may determine an energy pattern corresponding to a characteristic of the first wireless device. The energy pattern may include at least two sub-periods of different energy levels. The first wireless device may transmit the energy pattern on a channel (e.g., an unlicensed channel) prior to transmitting a first message on the channel to indicate the upcoming message to other devices. A second wireless device may monitor the channel during energy detection intervals and may detect the energy pattern. The second wireless device may determine the characteristic of the first wireless device based on detecting the energy pattern and may modify timing for transmission of a second message on the channel based on determining the characteristic. The first wireless device may transmit the first message on the channel based on transmitting the energy pattern.
