Abstract: Techniques are described for selecting transmit beam sets in multi-stream environments as part of beam selection procedures. The selection procedures and the reporting procedures of the beam selection procedures may include reporting information about potential sources of interference for the selected transmit beams. A base station may transmit reference signals to a user equipment (UE) as part of a beam sweep of directional beams. The UE may measure signal quality parameters associated with the reference signals and may select a plurality of transmit beam set candidates based on the signal quality parameters. The UE may report to the base station information related to inter-beam interference in multi-stream environments. The base station may determine which transmit beams to use to transmit information to the UE based on the report received from the UE that include information about inter-beam interference.

Abstract: In one aspect, a method of wireless communication includes transmitting, by a user equipment (UE), a first transmission in a first Channel Occupancy Time (COT) for a NR-U sidelink channel. The method also includes reserving, by the UE, a resource in a non-shared portion of a second COT and performing, by the UE, a Listen-Before-Talk (LBT) Category (CAT) 4 operation at a start of the second COT, wherein the second COT is associated with the UE. The method includes performing, by the UE, a continuous transmission operation in the second COT based on successfully performing the LBT CAT 4 operation. The method further includes transmitting, by the UE, a second transmission in the reserved resource of the non-shared portion of the second COT based on successfully performing a second LBT CAT 1 or 2 operation. Other aspects and features are also claimed and described.

Abstract: Various aspects of the present disclosure generally relate to wireless communication. In some aspects, a user equipment may receive a downlink control information (DCI) that includes a transmission configuration indication (TCI) state, may determine that the TCI state specifies a quantity of two or more quasi-co-location (QCL) relationships may identify, based at least in part on the determining, a multi-transmit receive point (TRP) demodulation reference signal (DMRS) port group configuration included in a multi-TRP DMRS port group configuration data structure, and may perform, based at least in part on the multi-TRP DMRS port group configuration, a channel estimation for a downlink of a wireless communication link between the UE and the TR. Numerous other aspects are provided.

Abstract: Various aspects of the present disclosure generally relate to wireless communication. In some aspects, a user equipment (UE) may receive a transport block that includes one or more code blocks carrying a random access channel (RACH) communication directed to the UE. The transport block may be segmented into the one or more code blocks based at least in part on a segmentation procedure specific to a RACH procedure. The user equipment may decode the one or more code blocks based at least in part on a code block cyclic redundancy check (CRC) associated with the one or more code blocks. Numerous other aspects are provided.

Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described. In systems supporting unlicensed downlink and licensed uplink communications, transmitter-based and/or receiver-based listen-before-talk may be implemented. In a transmitter-based scheme, a base station performs listen-before-talk on a downlink unlicensed band to monitor for signals from other base stations. In a first receiver-based scheme, a user equipment may send a clear to send signal on the licensed uplink channel or unlicensed downlink channel to assist a listen-before-talk operation at a serving base station. In a second receiver-based scheme, the user equipment monitors for downlink preamble transmissions from base stations other than a serving base station and reports detected preambles to the serving base station. The base station may schedule the user equipment based on the reported preambles. In some cases, the serving base station may signal other base stations to back off and reduce interference on the unlicensed downlink spectrum.

Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described. To support communications across a wideband, a base station and user equipment (UE) may communicate across the wideband using a set of sub-bands that span the carrier bandwidth (e.g., the wideband). In some cases, the UE may transmit, to the base station, an indication of a capability of the UE to communicate a wideband communication with the base station via the set of sub-band based communications with the base station. The UE may receive, from the base station (and, in some cases based on the capability of the UE), a configuration for communicating with the base station in the carrier bandwidth using the set of sub-bands. Then, the UE may communicate with the base station in the carrier bandwidth using one or more of the set of sub-bands in accordance with the configuration.

Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described. A base station may send coupled configured grants to a transmitter user equipment (UE) and a receiver UE, respectively. For example, when transmitting a pair of configured grants that includes a first configured grant sent to a first UE and a second configured grant sent to a second UE, the base station may include an indication in each of the configured grants that sidelink semi-persistent scheduling resources are activated or deactivated. Additionally, the configured grants may indicate which UE is a receiver and which UE is a transmitter. For instance, the first configured grant may indicate that a first UE is to be the transmitter and a second configured grant indicate that a second UE is to be the receiver.
