Abstract: Systems and methods for modularized design for inter-physical layer priority uplink control information (UCI) multiplexing are disclosed herein. A user equipment (UE) may determine a first code rate for a first portion of UCI and a second code rate for a second portion of UCI. Different code rates may be used to encode different portions of UCI (e.g., hybrid automatic repeat request acknowledgement (HARQ-ACK) bits, channel state information (CSI) reporting bits, scheduling request (SR) bits, cyclic redundancy check (CRC) bits, etc.). Further, a UE may select a group of bets offset sets based on a physical layer priority type and a UCI multiplexing type.

Abstract: A method for Resource Allocation for Msg-3 Transmission on an unlicensed spectrum may include receiving a random access response (RAR) grant comprising a 12-bit frequency domain resource allocation (FDRA) field. If the resource allocation type is type-1 some embodiments may zero padding the FDRA field to interpreting the 12-bit FDRA and determine a starting position of allocated resources where a Scheduled PUSCH Transmission is transmitted in an unlicensed spectrum. Some embodiments may use a virtual Bandwidth Part (BWP) to obtain a starting position and a length of allocated resources.

Abstract: A method, UE and integrated circuit for reporting RSTD values to a network. A user equipment (UE) is configured to establish a connection to a network, the network comprising a first cell and a second cell. The UE receives a positioning reference signal from each of the first and second cells, determines a frequency band for each of the positioning reference signals, determines reference signal time difference (RSTD) values from measured time offsets between the positioning reference signals from the first and second cells, determines RSTD reporting values based on at least the RSTD values and the determined frequency bands and transmits an indication of the RSTD reporting values to the network.

Abstract: The implementations disclosed provide apparatus, systems, and methods for downlink control information (DCI) enhancement for a reduced-complexity new radio (NR) wireless device. The wireless device includes one or more processors configured to transmit a type of the wireless device to a base station communicatively coupled to the wireless device. A format of the DCI is received from the base station. The DCI includes multiple bit strings indicating a schedule of a physical downlink shared channel (PDSCH) or a physical uplink shared channel (PUSCH). The format specifies a respective number of bits for each bit string. The format is defined by the base station based on the type of the wireless device. The DCI is received from the base station using a physical downlink control channel (PDCCH). The multiple bit strings are extracted from the DCI based on the format of the DCI.

Abstract: Systems and methods disclosed herein relate to acknowledgement signaling sent by a user equipment (UE) in response to downlink control information (DCI) received from a base station that schedules the use of multiple physical uplink control channels (multi-PUSCH) or multiple physical downlink control channels (multi-PDSCH). Acknowledgement signaling may inform the base station that DCI scheduling the multi-PUSCH/multi-PDSCH was received (or not), so that the base station may reclaim those scheduled resources in the case that the UE remains unaware of them. Methods for performing this signaling include, e.g., the use of HARQ-ACK codebooks (whether in a semi-static or dynamic manner), and aperiodic sounding reference signals (A-SRS). Embodiments involving such DCI received across multiple component carriers of different serving cells of the UE are contemplated. Acknowledgment signaling according to multi-PUSCH/multi-PDSCH subgroups, monitoring windows, acknowledgment signaling enablement/disablement, and the use of DCI to trigger acknowledgment signaling are also discussed.

Abstract: A wireless device may establish communication with a network node and determine a relationship between transmission configuration indication (TCI) and bandwidth part (BWP). The wireless device may then receive an indication of one of TCI or BWP from the network node followed by determining the other of TCI or BWP based on the indication and using the relationship between the TCI and BWP. Finally, the wireless device may perform downlink communication using the indicated one of TCI or BWP and determined other TCI or BWP. The network node may be comprised in a non-terrestrial network and may specify via RRC signaling the relationship between TCI and BWP for the wireless device. The indication of the TCI or BWP may be provided by downlink control information (DCI), medium access control (MAC) control element (CE), an inactivity timer, or RRC reconfiguration commands.

Abstract: In one embodiment, an apparatus includes memory storing instructions and processing circuitry coupled to the memory. The processing circuitry is to implement the instructions to select a resource block group (RBG) size configuration from a set of RBG size configurations based on a bandwidth part (BWP) size. Each RBG size configuration is to indicate RBG sizes associated with respective ranges of BWP sizes, and the RBG sizes are to indicate a number of frequency-domain physical resource blocks (PRBs) for physical downlink shared channel (PDSCH) or physical uplink shared channel (PUSCH) transmissions. The processing circuitry is further to implement the instructions to allocate PRBs for communication between the gNB device and a user equipment (UE) device via the PDSCH or PUSCH transmissions based on the selected RBG size, and to encode downlink control information (DCI) that indicates the allocated PRBs for transmission to the UE device.
