摘要: A system may include an inflatable assembly having a plurality of members. The system may also include a plurality of sensors disposed at a plurality of positions inside or around the inflatable assembly, such that the plurality of sensors may acquire data related to a shape of the inflatable assembly. The system also includes one or more valves, each configured to direct a fluid into a corresponding member of the plurality of members of the inflatable assembly. The system also includes a processor that adjusts positions of the one or more valves to cause the fluid to be directed into the corresponding member of the plurality of members of the inflatable assembly based on the data and a desired shape of the inflatable assembly.

摘要: Smart Entertainment Technology uses technology to create an enhanced, real-world experience or adventure, and helps users explore, communicate, learn, and solve puzzles, creating a richer, more immersive experience. In one embodiment, a method includes identifying a plurality of patrons in an entertainment attraction using a contactless sensor. The entertainment attraction comprises a room, and each wall of the room comprises modular, interconnected, adaptable full-wall digital displays. The method further includes determining a digital attraction experience suitable for each of the patrons based on the age and attraction preferences of each of the patrons. The method additionally includes formatting for display on the modular full-wall digital displays content associated with the determined digital attraction experience. The method further includes determining an interactive gesture performed by one of the patrons, and formatting for display on the full-wall digital displays, appropriate content responsive to the interactive gesture.

摘要: A wave forming apparatus has a channel for containing a flow of water with an inlet end connected to a water supply, a floor, and spaced side walls, a first bed form or weir at the inlet end of the channel, and a second bed form in the channel downstream of the first bed form. Also disclosed is a wave forming apparatus has a channel for containing a flow of water, the channel having an inlet end connected to a water supply for supplying a flowing stream of water, a floor, and spaced side walls, and at least one oblique foil member adjustably mounted in the floor of the channel. The foils, weirs or bed form, form a standing wave.

摘要: A hotel or motel room incorporates special effects in accordance with a particular theme (e.g., haunted room). A control room provides a concealed area for personnel and/or automated systems to trigger the special effects which may include, but are limited to shaking, rattling, rumbling, pepper ghosts, water fixtures being activated, thunder and lightning, swapping tiles with digital graphics, turning on a TV, clock or light, etc. Heat sensors, weight sensors, floor mats and/or other sensors determine positions of guests in the hotel and hotel rooms thereby allowing the automatic or manual triggering of the special effects.

摘要: An immersive device may include reflective mirrored surfaces that form a perimeter of and bound a reflective chamber. Various geometric shapes of inner chamber such as platonic solids and objects of constant width are described that facilitate clusters of tessellations into infinite reflection unobtainable using other shapes. Specialized sizing and arrangements of the shapes allow for discrete full body observations of the tessellation clusters. One or more light emitting elements may be configured to emit light into the reflective chamber. A processing unit may be in electrical communication with the light emitting elements. A sound device may be in communication with the processing unit, and the sound device may be configured to output sound to a user within the reflective chamber. An array of sensors, such as: digital camera, microphone, and electrophysiological monitoring devices that may be in communication with the processing unit and are configured to change the experience of the user within the chamber depending upon the signals from the sensors on the user.

摘要: A virtual reality (VR) attraction method includes implementing a kit corresponding to plans associated with VR representations. The kit includes fixed accessories, moveable accessories, a platform having a pattern of markings, and sections. The platform has mounts to affix the fixed stage accessories to the platform. The pattern identifies coordinates corresponding to a location of the mounts. The sections interconnect according to the pattern to form the platform. The platform is configurable according to stage plans. The method also includes: configuring a motion tracking system to register identity, location, and/or orientation of the fixed accessories and to track identity, location, and/or orientation of the moveable accessories and a VR participant; and via a VR simulation engine, receiving the identity, location, and/or orientation of the fixed accessories and the identity, location, and/or orientation of the moveable accessories; and generating the VR representations to simulate a virtual environment for the VR participant.

摘要: A system and method for timely delivery of water spray and/or drops to a video viewer's face, which includes an apparatus having a water-bottle attachment for creating pressure inside tubing to valves controlled by a CPU, and drip or spray nozzles attached to a headgear portion of the system and aimed to parts of the user's face. The CPU is triggered by timing relative to a distinct initiating sound from the video being watched to open and close valves at the appropriate time to coincide with events being viewed. Typically, a mobile wireless-connectable device will pick up the sounds with its microphone, correlate those with timing and events in a specific video, and send an appropriate signal to the CPU.

摘要: A ride system includes a first ride vehicle and a second ride vehicle positioned within a course and configured to travel within the course. The ride system also includes a control system having at least one controller and at least one position tracking system, where the at least one controller is configured to control movement of the first and second ride vehicles, and where the at least one position tracking system is configured to facilitate identification of a first location and a second location of the first and second ride vehicles, respectively, within the course. The ride system also includes a wireless network configured to enable communication between components of the ride system. The at least one controller is configured to receive data indicative of the first and second locations of the first and second ride vehicles, respectively, where the at least one controller determines a control loop for the first and second ride vehicles based on the data indicative of the first and second locations, and where the at least one controller is configured to process the data indicative of the first and second locations to synchronize one or more show elements with the first and second locations.

摘要: A wind tunnel for stable sustained human flight for research or recreation, including a tunnel including first and second portions having first and second central axes, respectively, and a fan to create an air flow in the test section. The second portion is a test section. The first and second central axes are arranged at a first angle with respect to each other. The second central axis is at a second angle of 5°-85° with respect to a horizontal plane. A safety system for an inclined wind tunnel for stable sustained human flight is provided, including an inclined test section of the wind tunnel that is arranged at an angle of 5°-85° with respect to a horizontal plane, a fan to create an air flow in the test section directed from an upstream end towards a downstream end thereof, and a delimiting arrangement arranged at the test section for preventing a person using the test section from leaving it.
