Abstract: The instant disclosure relates to hair coloring base compositions and developer compositions that can be incorporated into a hair color cartridge, which combines the compositions and dispenses them onto hair. The hair color cartridge includes: (a) one or more hair coloring base compositions and; (b) one or more developer compositions, which can be combined to form an active hair coloring composition and dispensed onto hair. The hair coloring base compositions typically include one or more oxidative dye precursors; one or more alkalizing agents; one or more reducing agents; optionally, one or more cationic conditioning polymers; one or more surfactants; one or more water-soluble solvents; and water. The developer compositions typically include one or more oxidizing agents; one or more surfactants; and water. The unique components and fluid characteristics of the various compositions are such that devices or appliances comprising them accurately combine and dispense the hair coloring base composition(s) with the developer composition(s) in a predetermined ratio with excellent consistency for application to hair.

Abstract: A toothbrush having a handle portion, a shank portion and a head portion. A channel extends longitudinally through the handle portion, the shank portion and terminates in the head portion. The channel is sized to slidably receive one or more toothpaste pellet formulated to effervesce when exposed to water or saliva. An aperture extends transverse through the head portion providing fluid communication into the channel. A one-way gate is disposed within the channel permitting a toothpaste pellet to pass into the head portion, and to prevent the toothpaste pellet from passing out of the head portion. A handle cap is removably attached to a lower end of the handle portion. The head portion and shank portion may be received within a head cap that removably attaches to the handle portion.

Abstract: A system for the application of mascara to both eyes using the dominant hand. The system has a container and an applicator. The applicator is used to transfer mascara from the container to the eyes. The applicator has a handle, a brush head and a rod. The handle progresses along an imaginary midline and supports the brush head in line with, or parallel to, the midline. The rod has at least one offset section. The rod is long enough to enable a person to position the brush head in front of the left eye from the right side of the head, or in front of the right eye from the left side of the head. The offset section of the rod prevents the applicator from blocking the vision from a near eye when applying mascara across the face to a far eye.

Abstract: A toothbrush apparatus including a handle, and attached first and second U-shaped members, each having first and second sections which are substantially parallel to each other and a third section which is substantially perpendicular to the first and second sections of the respective U-shaped member, which connects the first and second sections of the respective U-shaped member together.
