Abstract: A packet sending method includes determining, that a multipath connection meets a first condition, where the first condition is used to disable a small packet sending control policy used for the multipath connection, the small packet sending control policy is used to control a time interval at which the sender sends small packets using the multipath connection, and a length of data included in the small packet is less than a maximum segment size (MSS), disabling, by the sender, the small packet sending control policy, and sending, by the sender, a plurality of small packets on a plurality of paths of the multipath connection in a redundant transmission mode after disabling the small packet sending control policy.

Abstract: A method and system for securing data transmission in communication networks is disclosed. The method includes the steps of allocating a sequence ID (SQID) to each of a plurality of packets. The SQID is embedded in an Internet Protocol (IP) header of an associated packet from the plurality of packets. The method further includes grouping the plurality of packets into at least one cluster based on at least one of a distance amongst at least one IP attribute associated with destination address of each of the plurality of packets and variance in IP attributes associated with destination address of each of the plurality of packets. The method includes transmitting each of the at least one cluster to an associated destination address. Each cluster in the at least one cluster includes a set of packets from the plurality of packets and at least a domain-name is same in destination address.

Abstract: Provided are systems and methods for reliable, out-of-order transmission of packets. In some implementations, provided is an apparatus configured to communicate with a network and a host device. The apparatus may receive messages from the host device at a send queue, where each message includes destination information. The apparatus may further determine, using the destination information and an identify of the send queue, a transport context associated with a destination on the network. The apparatus may further, for each message and using the transport context, generate a packet including the message and transmit the packet over the network. The apparatus may further monitor status for each transmitted packet.

Abstract: A first wireless communications device including a transmitter, such as a base station or UE, identifies a first traffic flow, e.g., a TCP packet flow, for which end to end packet retransmission is supported. The first wireless communications device transmits an explicit indication to a second wireless communications device to skip Hybrid Automatic Repeat Request (HARQ) feedback for data, corresponding to the first traffic flow, said data being transmitted to the second wireless communications device. The explicit indication to skip HARQ feedback for data is, e.g., one of: a HARQ Off Indicator in a Downlink Control Information (DCI) Scheduling message, a Semi-Persistent Scheduling HARQ Off Indicator, or a AUL HARQ Off Indicator. HARQ suppression is applied for the first traffic flow at a radio link layer and/or MAC layer.
