    摘要: A gear pump or motor comprising a body having a cavity with high pressure and low pressure ports. A pinion, an internally toothed ring gear meshing together, a filling member interposed between pinion and ring gear and an arcuate bearing member are housed within the cavity. The pinion has a shaft which is journalled in the body. The arcuate bearing member is interposed between the periphery of the ring gear and the body wall near the low pressure port and yieldingly supports the ring gear such that the latter can shift in a direction of a plane of eccentricity containing the axis of rotation of the pinion and the ring gear. The arcuate bearing member defines, at its outer face, an area of low pressure, which is smaller than a further area of low pressure at its inner face which areas of low pressure are connected to one another. The filling member has a sickle-shaped cross section with a tapering end and a rounded end and which is mounted for pivotal movement and axial shifting movement transversely to the pivot axis and to the longitudinal extension of the filling member.

    摘要: A helical gear pump in which the rotor is made of a wire or bar wound into a cylindrical helix. The rotor is made by twisting two wires or bars around each other, separating the two helices so formed, and using one or both of them as a rotor. The stator is made of a tube of plastics which is formed by inserting into the tube a mandrel having threads correspondng to required internal threads of the stator, causing the plastics tube to soften and applying external pressure to it to make its inside assume a shape corresponding to that of the mandrel. The mandrel is made by winding helically two wires about a third straight wire and securing the first-mentioned two wires to the third wire, all the said wires having about the same diameter as the wire of which the rotor is made.

    摘要: A pump composed of a gear pair made up of an inner member having at least one external helical thread, and an outer member having internal helical threads, there being one more internal helical thread in the outer member than the number of threads on the inner member. The inner member is free to gyrate but prevented from rotation, and the outer member rotates on its true axis. The outer member is fixed in a tubular casing having at least one aperture for fluid being pumped, and this member extends beyond the gear pair and constitutes a drive shaft for the pump. The tubular casing is disposed in a housing and is arranged for rotation in the housing on suitable bearings and suitable seals. The housing has a port at each end of said gear pair, so that the direction of pumping may be reversed by reversing the direction of rotation of said drive shaft.

    摘要: A gear machine (either a pump or a motor) having a housing, an internally-toothed, annular gear wheel rotatably positioned in the housing and having from 9 to 15 teeth, an externally-toothed pinion adapted to mesh with the annular gear wheel and having two teeth less than the annular gear wheel, the diameter of the addendum circle of the annular gear wheel being smaller than the diameter of the addendum circle of the pinion, and a generally crescent-shaped filler piece radially filling and extending over a predominant portion of the length of the free space between the addendum circle surface of the pinion and the addendum circle surface of the annular gear wheel on the side of the machine opposite the point of deepest tooth mesh of the pinion and the annular gear wheel, the filler piece having one cylindrical surface, on the annular gear wheel side thereof, defined by the addendum circle surface of the annular gear wheel and its other cylindrical surface, on the pinion side thereof, defined by the addendum circle surface of the pinion, whereby the addendum surfaces of the annular gear wheel and the pinion sealably glide along the corresponding cylindrical surfaces of the filler piece and at least the end of the filler piece which is pointing in the direction of rotation is shortened and terminates at a point at which the trailing end of the addendum surface of each tooth of the annular gear wheel comes out of contact with the corresponding cylindrical surface of the filler piece simultaneously with the trailing end of the addendum surface of one tooth of the pinion.     摘要: A crescent type gear machine comprises a spur gear in mesh with an internal gear in a housing and a stationary crescent shaped body between spur gear and the ring gear. The space between ring gear and the housing communicates with the high pressure area of the machine, a limited low pressure area being formed between crescent shaped body spur gear and ring gear. A ring having a meander shaped section to make it radially resilient encircles said ring gear. A depression area is provided on the inner surface of said resilient ring and engages part of the periphery of the gear ring to counteract the hydraulic forces thereon. Said depression area communicates with a depression area of smaller size between said resilient ring and the housing wall, the latter depression area being defined by resilient sealing means and communicates with the low pressure connection of the machine.

    摘要: An independent control means to govern the operation of a fluid pressure device having a stator element and a rotor element constituting a stator-rotor mechanism, in which the stator element has a fixed axis and in which the rotor element has a movable axis with said rotor element having a rotational movement about its own axis and an orbital movement about the fixed axis. The entrance of fluid to the stator-rotor mechanism and the exit of fluid from the stator-rotor mechanism is governed by a rotary valve in the fluid pressure device. The independent control means features an actuating means for rotating the rotary valve independently of the rotor element by which the rotary valve is usually driven. The independent control means also features a by-pass valve which, when operated, fluidly interconnects the inlet and outlet ports of the fluid pressure device, whereby the rotor element may be stopped instantly.
