摘要: The present method and apparatus use information on the voltage V and the current I drawn by a pump motor to determine the water or liquid level height H in a well in which the pump is employed. In typical examples, the power of the motor can be related to the pressure and the fluid flow, and equations can then be used to relate fluid flow Q1 to fluid height H in the well.

摘要: An apparatus for the continuous treating of a water well with chlorine or hydrogen peroxide includes an inlet pipe, which is mounted in the cover on a water well and an elongated tube extending downwardly from the bottom end of the pipe into the well, preferably beyond any pitless adaptor, for depositing chlorine pellets or chlorine or hydrogen peroxide solution in the well. The pellets or solution are added roughly on a weekly basis which prevents a chlorine or hydrogen peroxide smell in the water.

摘要: A system and method for monitoring the permeability of a well structure defining a bore hole. The system comprises a wave generator, a sensor adapted to receive current wave data, and a processor programmed to compare the current wave data to prior wave data in order to determine the permeability of the well structure. The processor can calculate a correlation value and/or a decay value that reflects changes between the current wave data and the prior wave data, and these values can be displayed for the user. The method comprises creating a pressure wave in the bore hole, sensing current wave data, and comparing the current wave data to prior wave data in order to determine the permeability of the well structure. The step of comparing can include calculating a correlation value and/or a decay value that corresponds with the change in the data, and the values can be displayed.

摘要: A plurality of zones is gravel packed together and then isolated from each other in the gravel annulus by formation of a barrier in the gravel annulus. The screen assembly carries a series of chambers internally that are located between the producing zones generally in the area of blank pipe between the zones. The wash pipe has a shifter associated with it so that extraction of the wash pipe after gravel packing will serially shift pistons that reduce chamber volume where the chemical is stored. The chemical will exit through a rupture disc and nozzle and will commingle with the gravel and make an impervious annular barrier.

摘要: The pole plunger includes a main shaft having an upper disc secured to an upper end and a lower disc secured to a lower end. The lower disc has a radius greater than that of the upper disc, allowing the user to select the appropriately sized disc which matches the radius of a drain pipe to be plunged. Additionally, a handle portion may be secured to the main shaft, extending in a direction orthogonal thereto, providing the user with a handle to grip during the plunging process. The handle portion further has a handle disc secured to its free end, with the handle disc having a radius between that of the upper and lower discs, providing the user with a third size disc for plunging of the drain pipe.
