    摘要: An adjustable knee brace for fitting a variety of leg sizes and adjustable to limit flexion or extension motion of a knee. The knee brace includes an adjustable length provided by a strut that telescopes within a receiver. A latch assembly mounted on the receiver selectively applies a frictional force to lock the strut member and the receiver against relative telescoping movement. An adjustable range of motion hinge is operatively associated with the telescoping strut. The hinge includes a hinge plate connected to the strut member and having a semi-circular peripheral edge defining a plurality of uniformly spaced apart keys. A range of motion stop is movably positionable relative to the semi-circular peripheral edge and includes a movable latch having teeth. The latch is movable away from the keys to an unlocked position in which the stop is movable relative to the keys, and the movable latch is movable toward and into engagement with the keys to a locked position in which the range of motion stop is not movable relative to the keys. The range of motion stop defines a limit of rotational movement of the range of motion hinge to limit extension or flexion motion of the knee.

A tensioning device may be mounted on the cuff and coupled to the strap in order to incrementally adjust the tensioning device among a plurality of preselected levels such that a first end of the strap secures to the tensioning device and a second end of the strap couples to the cuff. A soft-good assembly connects to the strut assembly and has a flexible stay embedded within with a plurality of layers. The soft-good assembly is adapted to form an adjustable circumferential loop with the stay only located within a segment short of the circumference of the loop.

The drive assembly includes a link member which may be hingedly secured to the foot member at a hinge location adjacent to the posterior end of the foot member. The drive assembly may be operable to selectively impart pivotal movement between the foot member and the link member about a first pivot axis, and pivotal movement between the foot member and the leg member about a second pivot axis at the hinge location. A semi-rigid and resiliently bendable expander is connected to and spans a predetermined length between the struts. The expander provides two main configurations for the orthopedic device including maintaining the first and second struts in a generally flat configuration relative to one another and a curved configuration upon application of a load on the first and second struts. The expander reverts to a flat configuration upon removal of a load or from the first and second struts.

    摘要: An angle-adjustable rehabilitation device includes first and second racks between two lateral covers, a locking unit of the second rack is capable of switching the first rack between an adjustable position and a nonadjustable position. When in the adjustable position, the rotatable angle of the first rack can be freely adjusted. The control members of the two angle-adjustment positioning members protrude out of the two lateral covers, therefore, angle adjustment can be easily done without removing any components. Furthermore, the arc-shaped angle scale on the two lateral covers makes the angle adjustment more readable and controllable, and the first rack can be moved back into the non-adjustable position automatically after angle adjustment is done.
