摘要： A small utility tractor having a front-end loader which is modified to include a backhoe digger mounted on the front-end loader is disclosed. The backhoe digger is readily attached to or detached from the front-end loader to provide a digging function at the front of the tractor. The backhoe bucket is coupled to the front-end loader using an attachment device which releasably attaches the backhoe bucket to the front-end loader so that the backhoe bucket is located below the bottom of the front-end loader and the bucket front opening faces in the opposite direction to which the front-end loader opening faces.

摘要： An automatic, adjustable, quick attaching loader mechanism for fastening load carrying implements to the loader arms of end loading tractors. This mechanism provides two slots for receiving transverse positioning pins located in standard positions on the rear of various type of load bearing implements such as forks or scoops. A pivoting latch serves to lock the implement securely in position while a slidable lock holds the pivot latch in position. While the security of some attaching mechanism of this type may become suspect after long and continuous use due to the enlargement of the lower slots from wear, an adjusting mechanism is provided for maintaining a secure relation between the slidable lock and the pivot latch, thereby enabling the attaching mechanism to maintain various load carrying implements in a securely locked position throughout the life of the attaching mechanism.

摘要： The grab (3) for handling material has two grab members (4, 5) one or both or which have tines (6, 7), the grab members being relatively movable to open or close the grab so that cohesive or rigid material can be grasped between the tines (6, 7). Additionally, one grab member (4) has side and bottom panels (21, 22) forming a scoop or bucket component and the other grab member (5) has a back panel (10) so that in one condition of the grab, e.g. when the grab members (4, 5) are closed, there is formed a complete scoop or bucket for scooping up granular or liquid material to be handled.In another embodiment, the grab member (5) may also have small side and bottom panels; in other examples the scoop may be provided wholly on one of the grab members.The grab avoids having to use separate devices respectively for grasping and for scooping operations. It is particularly suitable for mounting on a tractor vehicle, though the combined grab and scoop facility is applicable also to implements, utensils, tools or other apparatus, large or small, for materials handling.

A door in the front of the bin is self closing when the bin is moved from its produce dumping position to its produce transporting position. A bin door opening mechanism is mounted on the bin and actuable automatically by a gravity operated door tripping mechanism mounted on one of said pair of forks, when said produce bin is moved by the arms from its produce carrying position to its produce dumping position.
